- JKJerry Kaye1 day ago5.0Home Instead (and especially caregiver Maggie) deserve many thanks for the extraordinary care and kindness shown to our mother. Despite my mother's medical issues and slide into dementia, she was able to remain in her beloved home to age 91 - longer than we ever thought possible—and to do so with dignity, comfort, and even joy. The cheerfulness, patience, and support shown by the caregivers, and their ability to notice and solve problems, made all the difference. They didn’t just provide care—they brought warmth, calm, and a sense of security that meant so much to my mother (and to my mother's three sons knowing that she was well looked after). We’re especially grateful that two caregivers are continuing to visit now that my mother has transitioned to a long term care facility. The continuity of these relationships is a great comfort to my mother and I love seeing her face light up every time she sees her caregiver again.
