Selena was very quick to respond, and Fiona was able to organize everything for us at short notice. Melanie, our carer, was extremely helpful, and made my friend’s Mum feel safe. She had such a horrible night beforehand, and having Melanie there as an advocate was invaluable. Melanie ensured that she was comfortable and had everything that she needed. From the front line Care Pros who are with my mother for an hour every morning, to the back of house staff doing the scheduling, accounting and all the regular phone and email communicating with family members such as myself, we are thankful to everyone on her care team. My mother is in the early stages of dementia and having a few regular care pros was the main reason we went private vs public, as this, along with specific times, is very important to my mother. They are beyond competent and most importantly, kind. What we thought was going to be a huge transition for my mother was a seamless one. We are especially thankful for Carol and Tahere. With their help, mom is able to stay where she is safe and happy in her 'independent' living seniors residence in North Vancouver.
