Tried going in today to get a pair of prescription sunglasses . I feel like my time was completely wasted . The service was not good . One girl was helping me. She gave me a price of $428. She also printed the total on paper with my insurance . All of sudden she says the system is glitching or having problems . So she leaves and passes me over to one of her co workers . The girl then proceeds to give me a new price of $599 for the glasses. I said wait a minute why is the price $599 now ? , she says I’m not sir what the other girl she left and don’t exactly tell me what she did . Either the girl knew she messed up on the price and just passed me over to her co worker . Whatever the reason is I wasn’t given any explanation to why the price changed . Not cool not a good service , wasted my time and I will not be back .

I’m very disappointed with their service and I’m going to stay away from them after I receive my ordered glasses. When you go in, there is always a line. Not every person who works there has the same level of information. One person couldn’t manage to use my insurance for my husband because he input wrong information. As we didn’t know it then, he told us my husband was not eligible for the insurance. We had to go back again to say what they did wrong. But they couldn’t manage it so we had to submit the insurance manually.
They told the orders would take around 10 days, after a month, I still don’t know where my orders are. I’m being promised to be called back but I kept calling them. Whatever the discount they made, it isn’t worth the gas spent going back and forth, time and stress spent on it.

I’ve been going to LensCrafters for years and really like the service as well as their broad selection of styles.
Today, Gillian did such a wonderful job adjusting my frames. She also provided her professional opinion on styles I was trying - she was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Can’t wait to return and purchase the frames she helped me choose.

Overall, LensCrafters provides good service once you’re actually being helped. The staff I’ve dealt with are knowledgeable and professional, and they do a great job when it’s your turn. However, my observation is that staffing levels don’t always seem sufficient for walk-in traffic. A couple of times, even while I was being served, the staff member had to step away to assist other customers who arrived afterward. This interrupts the flow and makes the process feel longer than it should be.
My glasses are currently on order, so I’ll update this review once I’ve received them.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
