- KVKay VMay 6, 20255.0We turned to Home Instead Victoria to support an elderly family member live at her own home longer and we were very appreciate of the service we received. Our initial reach out was met with an in home assessment within a day of requesting one. The materials and service options presented were very clear, and there were no hidden fees; especially as this was our first venture into home supports and had a lot of questions. We were really impressed with how quickly the Schedulers communicated any changes to the schedule and tried to provide real-time solutions. We also liked the Family Room, online portal, for helping us learn what the CarePro did during their visit and any thoughts or observations they had. The CarePro visits I observed, there was a soft nature and good way of redirecting by all of the staff and attempts to keep our family member active and the house tidied. A special shout out of thanks to CarePro Dawn who was very good at doing extra things like baking cookies and making crafts with our family member. She went that extra mile with care and compassion. The managers were also very quick to help us adjust schedules and make recommendations, so helpful. Definitely recommend Home Instead Victoria!
