  Osi is one of the main reasons this gym feels so welcoming. From the moment you walk in, he greets everyone with a genuine smile and makes you feel like you belong there. He is always approachable, always willing to help, and never makes anyone feel like a burden for asking questions. What really stands out is how much he cares about the overall atmosphere. He goes out of his way to make sure people feel comfortable, supported, and motivated, whether you are a regular or stepping into the gym for the first time. He brings such positive energy every day, and it genuinely changes the experience for everyone around him. It is rare to meet someone who is both professional and so naturally kind, but Osi manages to be both effortlessly. He creates an environment that feels encouraging, friendly, and uplifting. You can tell he truly cares about the people there and takes pride in making the gym a great space. People like Osi are hard to come by, and his presence makes a huge difference. He is an incredible human being and a huge asset to this gym.

  Supposed to open at 6am. Sitting on the floor waiting for staff to show up. Many regulars have left due to time constraints. Few people have called and we were told to go to the Cambie location even though many regulars here walk to this location and cannot go to the Cambie location or any other. It’s been over an hour waiting, regulars time wasted, supplements wasted, etc. this is not the first time this has happened at this location.

  Serious Concerns About Review Practices I’m very concerned about how Kitsilano Fitness handles its online reviews. From my experience, honest negative reviews are flagged and removed, while at the same time it appears that people connected to their fitness classes are being encouraged to leave overly positive or not fully genuine reviews. This creates a misleading picture for anyone trying to evaluate the business. Reviews are supposed to reflect real customer experiences—good and bad. When criticism is suppressed and positive feedback is actively promoted in this way, it undermines trust and makes the overall rating unreliable. Transparency and honesty should matter, especially in a service-based business. I would strongly encourage potential customers to read carefully and consider that the rating may not reflect the full range of experiences.

  staffs was not helpful and when I told them I am relocating permanently to a different country thus need to cancel my membership all of their customer service went out of the window. It seems like they are instructed to be rude to people when they need to cancel. On top of that this gym never organize their weights. I signed up at this gym but I basically never come to this specific location simply because I rather commute to the other locations that are cleaner and more organized.

  My boyfriend had a very troubling experience with Fitness World, specifically involving Renee from the head office. After he filed a complaint about his concerns, instead of addressing the issue professionally, the situation escalated. He was threatened and harassed, and was even told that he was not allowed to return to the gym, despite being an active member. This kind of response to a legitimate complaint is completely unacceptable. No member should face intimidation or be excluded simply for speaking up. It raises serious concerns about how the company treats its customers and handles internal issues.
