I went here once and they scammed me into signing up for multiple months of service I didn’t use or intend to sign up for in order to gain access to an app that I also didn’t use. Called them for a refund when I saw that I had been charged (because I was assured I wouldn’t be) and they refused to issue it so now I won’t be able to afford to get the physio i actually need Highly unethical business - I hope they go under.

Great experience so far at StretchLab. The space is clean and welcoming. The stretch session was tailored to my needs, and the flexologist Oghosa took the time to explain what we were working on and why. I left feeling more mobile, and relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve flexibility and recovery.

It is the worst branch of stretch labs. totally oblivious of health concerns of people going there. I am 64 years old and specially requested the senior most manager of the place multiple times that I wanted a senior therapist who would be mindful of my multiple health concerns regarding my muscles and spinal injuries. During the course of my treatment since I felt I was not getting the right stretches, I inquired from the very young therapist who looked like she had just finished schooling, how much experience she had and I was told she was one month in at stretch labs And had no prior job experience other than her course. Anyone with prior health concerns should not enter this facility.

I had been going to StretchLab in Yaletown since August, and I must say the stretch practitioners I worked with—Aileen (who no longer works there) and Holly—were very good. However, attempting to cancel my membership because I will be away for several months starting January 2026 has turned into a nightmare. This experience has taken my rating from four stars down to one. First, the membership requires a minimum three-month commitment, which I had already fulfilled. Since I was traveling a bit last month, I requested a membership freeze, and everything seemed straightforward. What I did not know—and was never clearly explained—is that: 1. Only after completing the three-month commitment, you must then provide a 31-day notice to terminate—effectively turning it into a four-month commitment; 2. You cannot terminate the membership while it is frozen; 3. Once the freeze ends, they automatically charge another month of membership fees coz a written termination notice wasn’t served. I was then only offered an option to terminate immediately if I paid a $200 fee. I didn’t agree to this but had no choice since I have no use of this membership anymore. Overall, I find this membership structure unnecessarily complicated and extremely inflexible. Even with the membership discount, a 50-minute session is still quite expensive. While the practitioners themselves are good, customers should be very cautious about the membership terms. Make sure to read all the fine print before committing otherwise you might get caught in a similar situation such as mine.
