This location serves individuals in and around the Vancouver area including but not limited to Northern Vancouver. At NSM, we build one-of-a-kind mobility solutions designed to be comfortable, safe and work completely in sync with each client. I sent the same email to all wheelchair vendors in the metro Vancouver area with my specifications for mobility devices in order to assess who has decent customer service and might be counted on for repairs or warranty issues, which frequently are needed for mobility aids.
National did not reply to two website requests sent through their website contact form. It took two more direct emails to get any reply (4 attempts on my part).
When I sent my specifications, they again did not reply. These attempts were made over the course of 6 weeks. They have still not replied to this customer who would have spent $5-7,000.
Do not use a company that cannot even reply to the first attempt to contact them. There is no reason to give them your business or your precious time.
National, you have my number. Don't put up a reply message telling me to get in touch. I've done that already. If you want business, it's your turn to do some work to get it.

I called to book my manual chair in for a bearing replacement in the front right castor stem. Instead of booking me in, they insisted my chair needed an assessment first! I explained that I needed it fixed but it fell on deaf ears. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this place. They don’t care if you’re paying out of pocket.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Will sometimes have to send email and after email for weeks or months before someone can be bothered to respond. After nearly a year of trying to get a mobility aid that is malfunctioning in a very unsafe manner repaired, NSM has refused to honour the warranty on (very expensive) goods that they sold. They had plenty of time for me when I was spending lots of money, and then as soon as I needed warranty work and wasn't spending money they literally couldn't even be bothered to reply to an email or return a phone call. Would recommend staying as far away as possible from both the Vancouver and Burnaby stores.
Update: I emailed as requested, because you said you would take my experience seriously. It has been well over a week now and I have not received any response. It does not in fact seem that you are committed to addressing these issues but rather are trying to save face in the public image.

They do not pick up the phone (attempted 3x). Moreover, upon coming to the store in person, we waited long to be served. We attempted to purchase an item; however, upon checkout, the price we were quoted was almost twice the price at other places. The employee did not know why the item was priced so high in the system, when it was priced at the low, original price the week prior. Upon asking a senior associate, they do not know why the price suddenly changed and said maybe it is the "tariffs". Moreover, the item (which is a very common, non-rare item) was the display item, and they said they do not have it in a box.
This place needs better and more knowledgeable customer service (the junior and senior associates) and more transparency in pricing their items.
