When I came to pick up my new glasses, Sajjad told me that the original pair of lenses had been thrown out because they were plastic. And he even claimed those were the prescription lenses. This didn’t make sense, and it was clear he simply couldn’t find them and was trying to get rid of me with an excuse. I found this unprofessional and dishonest — especially after spending good money here. It’s unfortunate, because Majid’s work was excellent, but the poor customer service from Sajjad really soured the experience. I won’t be returning after this.

I had been calling the store and left multiple voicemails and emails but haven’t heard back. So I went to the store and my glasses had been here the whole time! The store manager was absolutely terrible, didn’t acknowledge me the whole time and some guy was getting all passive aggressive saying I was attacking him when all I asked was why wasn’t I notified about my glasses, asked if I could get a refund and mentioned this seemed like a problem some other customer had 4 months ago. The guy, Mo, was talking over me when I was just asking valid questions. The guy, Mo, didn’t know what attacking was when all I did was raise valid questions, seemed like a cop out. And their email and voicemail system had been down for awhile Iike since 4 months ago when somebody else left a review like this. What kind of business doesn’t have a working email and voicemail system?! Like I was genuinely shocked by their response, both of them the person helping me, Mo, and the store manager. The people working in the optometry business clearly don’t know the importance of one’s eyesight, they were very nonchalant about the whole thing. And I just got a $25 refund which is absolutely disappointing! There was also no apology given, very arrogant and made it seem like it’s my fault. Like really do not recommend, awful service! There really are better optometrist in the area. Still very shocked by the store manager’s attitude, very cowardly lol idk how she’s a manager. I am raising this issue to Clearly Canada. But like for real, isn’t it kinda weird that a pair glasses hasn’t been picked up for a month and no one tried to reach out to me. Very bad look for the store itself with this incompetent manager! In general, they were not very professional, Mo being a cop out and the store manager, didn’t get her name, being very condescending. I don’t know how they’re working there! But yeah get your glasses elsewhere.
