If you’re looking for a trainer who is both highly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, go see Tony. He took the time to understand my limits, work schedule, and specific conditions to build a workout plan that actually works for me. It’s rare to find a trainer who balances expertise with a chill-supportive vibe. Also, a huge shoutout to Lauraine and Hosanna at the front desk—they are always so helpful and welcoming.

I had a amazing experience coming to fitness world marine gateway. When I came in i was welcomed by the staff immediately. One of the trainers named Arshia help me figure out some technique flaws that i had and even offered me a more detailed consultation session. This is by far the best experience i had with fitnessworld so far.

I have been training with Arshia for few months. He is a great trainer. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable. I have been having issues with my left shoulder and neck and he has been working on it with me. Initially, when i had started, my shoulder was painful but he has given me techniques and exercises which made it so much better now. Also, I like that he does not force me to buy any training sessions, he just lets me know if there is any promotions going on and lets me decide. He sees potential in me and always pushes me to do my best. This is my first time at a gym so him training me has been very helpful. He has taught me how to use machines and has corrected my form with weights. Thanks Arshia, you are the best!!!

Getting a personal trainer shouldn't be imposed on anyone, especially if you've told them on many occasions that you're not interested and they still want to know why. It is annoying; people just want to work out and leave. The fact that you can't cancel your membership at any given time—I have ended agreements for year-long contracts in the past without the hassle and BS of "bring us proof of moving out far"—but they want you to prove that you're moving out of province or city, is also not very good. You should be able to cancel/leave any establishment you no longer have interest in or unsatisfied with, with no questions asked. Holding people hostage is rubbish. Change that policy and make people feel less hostage, train your employees to be upfront and not trying to get people locked in for a year the whole explanation was rubbish and rushed!

Here's some things I have noticed: -They leave out fine details of the contract (whether its intentional or not) -They will pressure you to sign up with a plan (there will be another deal, so don't feel pressured to give in) -If you want to do anything with your contract, change, pause, or cancel, I would recommend reading the contract yourself before signing, as sometimes key information (like their idiotic “pause” policy) will not be verbally explained. - They run a tight ship with their policies and will constantly hold their policies over your head, despite I had my contract changed easily but it was chopped up to be an accident and was reverted. Overall, Fitness World is a gym with friendly staff and a variety of gym equipment, overshadowed by the bureaucracy of Fitness World and noticed people experienced the same in these reviews. Despite all of this, I'm trying not to let this dampen my overall gym experience and approach going to the gym differently.
