  Pretty greasy gym, random equipment will be broken for weeks / months, and outrageously busy if you want to work out after a 9-5. Additionally, there are greasy contract policies, I signed a 1-year contract and when it expired they automatically switch to "month-to-month" without an email confirmation. Do not expect any communication as they will make sure to keep charging you. When you realize they're still charging they'll charge again for another month even after you've cancelled the contract. Will say the staff are friendly, they clearly don't design the greasy policies.

  Today waited 45 min for gym to open. Hopefully the responsible is safe. Management should have a backup plan and/or know if their locations are not open /close on schedule. 30 plus people waiting to get fit for the day.

  I’ve been a member for over 20 years and have to say it’s disappointing to see how many cardio machines are not working and take weeks to repair. Also the same thing with a number of weight resistance machines. Bathroom soap dispenser is always out and washrooms smell. Appears to be poorly managed now. Hopefully someone from management addresses these issues asap.

  The gym is spacious and has lots of equipment. And the monthly fee is reasonable. However the gym is messy with equipment lying around. Cleanliness is questionable. Equipment breaks down because of overuse and repairs take a long time. This gym is very busy since Covid all day long. Lots of “work” done from the gym. Staff does not look around to mind gym etiquette such as: not dropping weights sitting on equipment and scrolling “reserving” equipment by placing belongings on several pieces. overly loud patrons Also there is no need for playing loud music as most people have their own stuff playing their favourites. There is already plenty of noise going around.

  I had a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience with Fitness World. I was harassed by Renee from the head office, and despite reaching out for help, the company did nothing to properly address the situation. Instead of accountability or support, I was met with avoidance and a complete lack of professionalism. No member should have to experience harassment—especially from someone representing the company’s leadership. It’s extremely concerning that Fitness World allows this kind of behavior to happen without consequences. They need to take complaints seriously and treat their members with respect and safety. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. A gym should be a safe, trustworthy space, not one where harassment from head office staff is ignored.
