- RERichard Evans1 day ago1.0The one star is generous. Ordered safety glasses was told they would be in roughly a week-two weeks. Two weeks passed and they ordered the wrong glasses. They returned those glasses without contacting myself about it. So another two weeks go by and they come in. The staff never did a fitting test or anything. They offered a 50 dollar discount for the delay which was an insult after the way the staff treated me as if it was all my problem. The manager was emailed and finally agreed to a 50% discount. The only good thing about the whole interaction was them finally agreeing to the 50%discountt. Honestly I would never send anyone to this store or any specsavers after the run around they gave me and the lies th staff told.
- GLGreg L2 days ago5.0I used to get my eyes checked and glasses at Community Eyewear but when my frame broke they lied to me and told me it definitely couldn’t be repaired, I so happened to be at Kingsgate Mall a few months back and popped in, I was surprised to learn that my metal frame can indeed be repaired in Burnaby, I appreciate the manager at Kingsgate Mall Specsavers being honest with me and openly sharing this information, I purchased another two sets of glasses while getting my current metal frame repaired. I now go to Specsavers for any eyewear needs because I have found them to be honest and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Also my wife’s glasses were made perfectly. Lot of choices for frames and also discounts if you buy 2 pairs. Over all a great experience.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
