  Highly recommended. Home Instead's Richmond team have provided excellent home care for my father for more than 4 years. They took the time to understand his needs and they adjust perfectly as his needs change.

  I needed home care from May 2025 to early July while recovering from bone fractures.The service I received was excellent. The two care aides who helped me were excellent, as was the office staff. When I had questions the follow-up was very fast and accurate. All my needs were exceeded and I'm very grateful. Mary was my area client representative. Vivian and Christie were my assigned aides.Thank you Christie, Vivian and Mary, and thank you to the other office staff who provided such excellent service.

  My Mom was in the hospital and my Dad was admitted in a care facilty at the same time. Our caregiver knew both were gone from the house, but she still came to the house and now the company is expecting us to pay. Not once did they check in to see how my Mom and Dad were doing, send a card, call or email. They just want money for the days that the caregiver showed up, that's all they care about, bottom line.

  We contacted HomeInstead (HI) as my ailing Father (96) was going deaf but still wanted to live in dependently and needed round the clock in home monitoring. HI was very courteous and professional with all their follow up communications. Our initial instructions including onsite consultation and set ups with each care companions, was carried out by the territory owner himself, attending to ensure seamless communications to and fr their services. He checked the accommodations and pointed out things to have ready in place for the service requested. HI provided 4 different shift companions to cover the longer night shift monitoring my Father required. I have nothing but good things to say about the care companions who came regularity. They were always on time, polite, courteous and left detailed notes per each shift covering: my fathers food intake, wake and bathroom times and anything unusual requiring follow up. My father quickly adjusted to this level of monitoring and continued living his life without frustration or worry knowing someone was around when needed assist him w anything he required. This gave my father & us great peace of mind and I would no have hesitation in recommending Jeremiah and his dedicated team at HomeInstead. They delivered and provided the quality level of care my father was needing and they were always great to deal with including all the caring staff who attended to my father.

  Home instead has provided quality care for my parents for a year. They are reliable, they communicate extremely well, they match the right caregiver to client and have made our care experience for our parent especially at a difficult time wonderful. Thank you
