  I needed home care from May 2025 to early July while recovering from bone fractures.The service I received was excellent. The two care aides who helped me were excellent, as was the office staff. When I had questions the follow-up was very fast and accurate. All my needs were exceeded and I'm very grateful. Mary was my area client representative. Vivian and Christie were my assigned aides.Thank you Christie, Vivian and Mary, and thank you to the other office staff who provided such excellent service.

  I am so grateful to Jeremiah and his team for all their help this year in securing the perfect CAREgiver for my elderly mom. We got off to a bit of a rocky start with securing care at first as my mom, like many, was very resistant to any sort of care. After an unexpected hospital stay in October, it became evident that “no” was no longer an option and Jeremiah worked hard to secure the PERFECT person to support her. While I have a large extended family, everyone has their own lives to attend to and I felt it was important to secure a professional to assist my mom regularly. After two months now, my mom and her CAREgiver have developed a lovely relationship. She always tells me how much of a hardworker she is, that she is a fantastic cook and that it’s clear she is very responsible and trustworthy. As I live so far away from my mom, it’s so comforting to know that she has this support. I’m extremely grateful and look forward to continuing to work with Home Instead.

  This is just what mom needed at the time. Huge help, great staff and beneficial advice. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for extra care and attention for a senior. Gave us peace of mind when we needed it the most.

  Jeremiah and his team at Home Instead are the premier home care company in Richmond and Surrey. A few things immediately come to mind that set them apart from the competition: 1. Their caregivers are REALLY trained in Alzheimer's and dementia--I cannot emphasize how important this is. 2. Jeremiah and his team will work tirelessly to ensure that your loved one has a caregiver who is a great match (language, culture, interests). This makes it so much easier to provide care for seniors who are initially resistant to having help. 3. They are RESPONSIVE. They always have someone available to answer the phone and tend to your needs. Most places that I called went to voicemail on a weekend. This is not the case with with Home Instead and I cannot tell you how much peace of mind this gives. In summary, you cannot go wrong with Home Instead. If you are looking for some much needed peace of mind, they should be your first and only call.
