I was struggling a lot with putting in contact lenses and honestly didn’t think I’d be able to do it, but she was super patient and encouraging the whole time. She walked me through it step by step and made me feel comfortable. She’s the reason I was able to get the hang of it—really appreciate her help.
- ASA SMar 31, 20265.0I recently required new glasses, however, my choice of frames weren't appropriate for the specific progressive lenses I needed, so I encountered some problems. I went back to Specsavers at 2029 Lonsdale to see what could be done and met with the owner/optician Haseena Mecklai. After I explained my concern, Haseena explained why I'd experienced my visual problems and offered two solutions; both of which provided a positive outcome for me as the customer. I very much appreciated the professional, courteous and very pleasant interaction and left completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this local North Shore Optician and Specsavers optical shop for your eyewear needs - outstanding service "all around".

I have been struggling with them since buying them and today they installed silicone pads and boom my problem is finally gone. It's been over a year of constant adjustments and headaches. How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
