Club Pilates North Vancouver is a boutique Pilates studio specializing in reformer fusion classes for anyone, at any age or fitness level. Pure to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but modernized with group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment, Club Pilates offers high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.
I was excited to try the new studio because it’s so close and convenient to where I live. I like the idea of being able to walk and not worry about parking. The studio is clean and all the stations have nice new equipment.
However I am finding it difficult to use my 4 credits a month. The studio offers mostly level 1 classes which is not what I’m looking for. I try to book into the few 1.5 level classes offered but they are always waitlisted with 7 or 8 people on the list. This feels very frustrating.
In addition, the credits for my account renew on the 27th of the month and I am not able to book anything after the 27th until they have renewed. This makes it difficult to book in advance and difficult to get into the classes I am wanting without getting waitlisted. I think this system is not beneficial for the business model as it does not encourage members to book and continue returning to the studio.
For these reasons at this point I am going to cancel my membership and wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. Hopefully the feedback is implemented to improve your business and the happiness of your clients.

Heard great things about Club Pilates so was happy to see them open nearby. Tried out their free intro and I am honestly hooked. My body feels balanced and sore in all the right places and I can already see myself getting back on the slopes hopefully this year with more classes.
Instructor was very meticulous, helpful and patient which I really appreciate. Front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Overall good vibes and environment. Try this place out! You won’t regret it.

I’ve been practicing Pilates for over two years at various locations, but I have to say the instructors at this Club Pilates studio truly stand out. They’re all professional, and I always know exactly what to expect in terms of a solid, body-friendly workout. The whole atmosphere is just fantastic.
But I have to give a special shout-out to one instructor here: Niloo. She’s just different in the best way. Her energy is incredible, and her classes have this super spicy vibe that really makes you feel like you’re getting an amazing workout. I absolutely love her classes and can’t recommend them enough!

I’ve attended 7 classes over the past few weeks. The studio is clean, modern, and well-equipped, and the introductory three-month package is a great value (though rates do rise quite a bit afterward).
The website and marketing are a bit misleading. They show classes ranging from Levels 1.0 to 2.5, but nearly all classes are Level 1.0 (introductory) with a few 1.5. There are no advanced options yet - on Fridays, for example, there are eight beginner sessions and only two intermediate. The owners indicate that advanced classes will begin in January.
When I asked if I could restart my three-month intro rate once the advanced classes launch - since the current offerings don’t match what was advertised - I was told “the system doesn’t allow it.” That kind of answer is always disappointing; systems are managed by people, and can be adjusted when there’s a willingness to do so. They did, however, offer to cancel or freeze my membership.
I was encouraged to ask for more challenging options from the instructors each time I attend, but adjustments are generally to simply change spring tension. It isn’t the same as more interesting or complex movements like standing poses or back rollovers that I experienced at other studios (not Lagree).
I’ve also noticed instances where students were performing exercises incorrectly, however, were not corrected - likely because of class size and limited opportunity for individual attention. I've experienced a great lack of specificity in the instructions depending on the instructor (eg. "put your feet on the bar" vs "put you feet on the bar hip width apart and keep your heels lifted about 2 inches"). It makes a difference.
With the membership, I have 8 credits per month that refreshes on the 27th of each month. Today is the 26th and I've used my month's credits. I'm trying to book more classes in advance using next month's credits but the system doesn't allow me. I probably need to wait until the 27th, and in the meantime, sessions get full. Not ideal.
Overall, this is a nice studio for beginners or early-intermediate students, provided they are satisfied with less-specific instruction and an en masse approach. I would give it 3.5 rating but google doesn't allow half stars :)
