Unacceptable service. Hostile/racist staff and broken equipment. I cannot understand why anyone would shop at this LensCrafters location. I went in specifically to purchase the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses. From the moment I entered, the front desk associate was dismissive and clearly wanted me out of the store. The Experience: Refusal of Service: As an Asian customer, I specifically needed to check if the glasses had a "Low Bridge/Asian Fit." The associate refused to let me open the box to try them on unless I bought them first(which I understand and I have no problem with it. However, When I asked about the return policy if they didn't fit, she ignored / deflect the question multiple times. The "Dummy" Pair: Instead, she handed me a filthy, greasy dummy pair to try on. I pointed out that the nose pads were broken off, meaning it is UNSAFE to try them on. She insisted they were "the same" multiple times until I physically held them side-by-side to prove the nose pads were missing. And she still refuse to admit she handed me a broken dummy, and this time she said it looks broken because it’s a different model. (Where is your logic ?) The Atmosphere: Throughout the interaction, the associate was racist at its finest and seemingly tried to drive me away. I even caught her joking and laughing with a colleague and holding the glasses after I left. ( you really should know you location, your store has a glass window facing the parking lot and unfortunately I parked right in front of it) I have never felt more hostile vibes at a retail store. I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. Avoid this location at all costs. Update: here is an example of how bad a company’s policy can be. Customer: You have a racist employee. lenscrafter: I know, here is the klan’s number please contact them. What a joke

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
