  I can’t begin to express my gratitude to Melissa and her amazing staff. ALL OF THEM. from one end of the world to another. The compassionate care and experience these girls provide is by far the best care company we have had the pleasure of working with. We have had difficulties with other organizations and home Instead came to solve an issue with another company. They co shared the contract for over 1 year and were very fair and professional. When it came time to review the contract I had no doubt in my mind that they would provide everything that we needed and more. Melissa is not only an owner , she is hands on , , caring and involved. She takes the time out on a Friday evening to check in on her staff and client to ensure everything is okay. . Make sure everyone is confident and comfortable. The care she has provided to my mom have been over and above. Care compassion , respect and kindness is beyond any other experience I have had. Thank you Melissa and all your staff for standing out and always being there not only for my mom but for me too !! Love ya. !!!

  Melissa and her team at Home Instead augmented the home support services provided by Island Health to provide care to my elderly family member. They also provided dedicated, compassionate end of life care, making a difficult time a little bit easier for our family. They were very responsive, committed, and caring and I highly recommend their services.

  Right from the initial inquiry Home Instead has been professional, reliable and kind. Questions were answered right away, no information was held back and I felt like I was working with friends. They offered to meet in person (safely during covid) to ensure I felt comfortable and confident knowing who was going to be in my fathers home, how I could be kept informed and thoroughly discussing a detailed care plan. The support worker assigned to my dad genuinely cares and has gone above and beyond. The private care option has been amazing providing consistency in a care provider I can build a relationship with and having the ability to drive him to appointments has taken a huge burden off me. Please don’t hesitate contacting them to see if it would be a good fit for your family.
