I stopped in at Specsavers a couple of weeks ago to get my glasses fixed while I was in the area. The experience was good, the woman working was helpful and I ended up picking out a frame. Today I went back to order some glasses. As soon as I came in the door a different woman was trying to up sell me. I want reading glasses. No you don’t you want progressive lenses. No, I don’t want progressive lenses I want regular reading glasses. No, you don’t, there was a guy who took his glasses off 100 times in a day after I told him he wanted progressive lenses and he didn’t believe me. Then she tried to tell me my prescription was wrong and she should test my vision again. This kept going on until I walked out. The sales woman was completely full of herself and rude. For the businesses sake I can only hope she is new and won’t last long. What should have been a 10 minute transaction ended up being a horrible experience. I’ll gladly pay more not to have to deal with that again.

I was greeted immediately with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude. I was granted time and welcome advice regarding frame choices. Prices were discussed clearly and good deals were readily available. I would happily return to Specsavers Duncan in the future.

When i walked in the store was warm and friendly with great staff to greet me - Christine at the Duncan store was very helpful - i was told i needed progressives but it’d been 10yrs since I’ve worn glasses so she helped me go with two pairs - one single vision for driving and such and a pair of Readers for scrolling the phone and reading and my crocheting projects - Super helpful Christine was and SO HAPPY WITH BOTG PAIRS!! Thank you again Christine!!! And thank you for being patient during my decline making :)

After hearing of the sales and deals at the Duncan location, I walked in, was warmly greeted by staff and I was pleasantly surprised by their brand name selections and prices. After trying on different styles, Lauryn was very personable, professional and honest in helping to answer my questions. She efficiently offered options to fit my needs, yet did not make me feel pressured. The price breakdown was explained clearly after the customized data entry and pre-fitting, leaving me feeling very satisfied with my purchases. Additionally, I also took note of the other friendly staff assisting an elderly couple, who seemed very relaxed and happy with the service being provided. I would highly recommend this business to anyone interested in checking out an alternative to over priced boutiques or big box stores that use uncomfortable high pressure sales tactics as their service model.

Stopped in today because my left temple arm on my prescription sunglasses had broken at the hinge... the attendant Carolin, said she didn't think it could be replaced. But continued to look in their service area. Seriously, I need my sunglasses almost full time during the days as my eyes are light sensitive....age makes a difference...ugh. 6 min later she exclaimed loudly, that she found an arm that fit....Woo-hoo....saved. Greatly appreciated the continued looking by Carolin, even though she felt they had nothing. Thank you #Specsavers 😊 I'm one happy senior...
