  Specsavers is not just an optical store, it is a complete vision care center. From our first visit for an eye exam, to subsequent ones to select frames, everyone, from the optometrist to technicians and service associates were professional, knowledgeable, warm and helpful. Our special thanks to Ariel who actively listened to our needs to recommend practical solutions for our eye glass selections. She answered our questions about frame quality, lens options and upgrades with patience, expertise and enthusiasm. We did not feel rushed even though we found out later that it was past her quitting time. She only left when her colleague, Joseph, volunteered to take over from her so that she could leave for the evening, Joseph wrapped up the visit with such personalized assistance that we did not feel any gap in the transition at all. A solid five star establishment!

  The customer service staff tried to be accommodating but I would never get my eyesight assessment there because their assessment was wrong and I was given too strong a prescription which I ended living with for a number of months since I had to leave the province on a trip..When I had my eyesight tested one year later by another optometrist it was found to not be so strong as the Specsavers assessment..do yourself a favor..get your eyes assessed by a professional you trust and get your glasses where you can have personal attention by a professional who understands vision and glasses at some depth..

  At 60 years plus and my first pair of prescription glasses I really didn't know much about the process but made the wise decision not to buy glasses at my optometrist (which started at about $800 for the pair I initially picked out). A friend referred me to Specsavers and the Coquitlam centre location was convenient. When I first walked in the store was busy but I was helped immediately. The staff were super efficient, friendly and helpful. I ended up with two pairs of glasses for less than half of what I would have paid for one at the optometrist. The glasses were ready on the promised date and once again service was amazing. Even though I thought the glasses were fine, they sat me for a fitting that customized the look and feel so they were even better. I highly recommend Grace and the other staff here, and Specsavers in general.

  A huge thank you to Grace and Anthony for going the extra mile to repair my very damaged glasses after I'd had a bad fall and was in hospital. I didn't think they could be saved but they worked magic.

  I’ve been coming to this location since it was Image Optometry, and I was initially hesitant to return after it became Specsavers. However, my partner had a great experience here, so I decided to give it another shot—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was helped by Joseph; his customer service was excellent. He even set aside the glasses I liked before my eye exam so I could revisit them afterward. My eye exam was with Dr. Jasjit Gandham, and she was absolutely amazing. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also took the time to explain my prescription in detail, helping me understand my eye health better. She’s warm, professional, and clearly passionate about her work. I highly recommend booking your exam with her! Afterward, even though the store was quite busy, I was assisted by a wonderful staff member named Payton. She saw the frames I had picked out, offered additional stylish suggestions, and helped me find a few more options that I loved. She also provided quotes on my favorites, which really helped me stay within budget. Payton’s kindness, attention to detail, and excellent customer service made the whole experience fun and stress-free. I left excited for my new glasses, and I’ll definitely be back! If you're looking for great prices, quality care, and outstanding customer service, Specsavers is the place to go. Edit: I went back to pick up my glasses and Joseph was there again to help! He helped made sure my glasses were aligned properly and he also was kind enough to let me pick the colour of my case! He also replaced the jellies on the inside of my old pair of glasses for a small fee and I was very pleased! Such incredible customer service at specsavers! 10/10 stars
