Yvonne at the Metrotown location was amazing! This was my first ever time getting glasses as I just received my first lens prescription. I had no clue what to do but Yvonne took the reins and guided me with great knowledge from additions to lenses that would be useful me, a product that would fit my needs, and finding a style that would suit me. Super friendly, patient, and receptive. I’m happy she was there to help me through a new experience. A real gem thank you Yvonne!

My nosebuds on my glasses fell off so I went to the Metrotown Lenscrafters to buy a pair. Jarrod (sic?) asked me if I needed help. I explained the issue. He took them and said let me go to the back and see if I can fix them. He came back saying it would take a couple hours (he explained why) and if I could come back later to pick them up. I asked how much and he said "no worries we got you". Awesome experience. Didn't buy my glasses there but I will in the future. Thanks Jarrod!

Amber the sale associate was helpful and friendly but my objection is with lens crafters policy that they tell you when they try to up sale you with frame insurance.
So I got Rayban meta glasses last July.In store price was $369 frame by the time I got transition prescription lenses and $54 store insurance my cost jumped to $800.
After 8 months the frame sounds system stops working and I get lose connection with meta ai and phone..Rayban customer support is great and they send me letter coupon that I can get to new frame from same store..When I ask lens crafters people what happens to $54 insurance I paid for frame does it get transferred to new frame as it’s still under year they go like no I have to buy new insurance…lens crafters are cheating people out of insurance and I won’t be buying any product from them after spending over $2-3k over 3-4 frames in 5 yrs

I had a great experience at LensCrafters. They have a wide variety of eyewear frames to choose from, so it was easy to find a pair that suited my style and comfort. The store was well organized, and the selection included many different brands and designs.
What really made the visit stand out was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the process. A special shout out to Yvonne, who assisted me. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure I found the perfect pair of glasses. Her professionalism and warm attitude made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
Highly recommend LensCrafters if you're looking for great eyewear options and outstanding service!

I chose LensCrafters specifically because of positive reviews and decided to purchase two new pairs of glasses. I spent considerable time selecting frames I liked, and the initial fitting went smoothly. However, since I was wearing contacts at the time, I couldn't fully verify the clarity of the lenses in-store as I didn’t want to discard my daily contacts at the time. Thankfully I did this otherwise I would not have been able to drive home with the glasses they made for me.
Once home, I tried on the glasses and found them extremely blurry and unusable. I returned to the store the next day, where staff quickly discovered that the employee who entered my order had input my entire prescription incorrectly. My prescription was very recent, clearly printed with only my name on it, and I was just getting glasses for myself at the time, so the error was baffling and entirely on their end. No one could explain how it happened.
The glasses had to be remade, which I understood would take time. I returned again (another trip), waited while they remeasured everything, and confirmed the correct details before placing the new order. At that point, they informed me I'd have to pay an additional $130 for the "stronger" lenses (due to the accurate prescription differing from their erroneous entry). They refused any discount, credit, or goodwill gesture, even though the remake was solely because of their sloppy, unprofessional mistake. They told me I could choose some cheaper frames to reduce the cost, but I had already invested quite a bit of time picking out these two.
I paid for specific frames and lens types based on my provided prescription. Not for staff data-entry errors. Charging me extra to correct their incompetence feels unfair and exploitative. The inconvenience of multiple trips, wasted time, and added cost was completely avoidable if the prescription had been entered properly the first time.
While the frames and selection are decent, this experience highlighted serious issues with accuracy, accountability, and customer care. I will not return and strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and potential extra fees.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
