My mom is pretty much immobile when she is not in her power chair, so when it stopped, it was a really big deal. I called NS&M and Marcia said she would be over in 10 mins. She discovered mom's power cord was worn through and shorting out, so a possible fire was prevented! Soon afterward Anton brought another chair and the repair on her own was completed and returned the very next day! My mom was thrilled!

I contacted a few places and they were giving me a timeline of 2-3 days before they could come out. I reached out to Marcia at NSM and she had a service tech sent to me the same day. She was very understanding and accommodating. The service tech Anton was friendly and greeted all the clients when he arrived. He fixed the issue quickly and even noticed/adjusted loose wheelchair brakes for the same client. I would definately recommend this company for all your medical needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How long does it take to get a new power wheelchair from NSM?

Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?

Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
