  Dr Kaufer cares more about money than patients. He said hello, sat at the computer and started typing. He never asked how I was doing or how my vision was. He never told me the results of the tests he did on me. He looked at my eyes and left. I won’t be going back.

  I have been a patient at Tucson Eye Physicians at least 20 years. My father was a patient with Dr. Kaufer for a long time. He passed in 2017. At the time there were two doctors, they were partners (I can’t remember the other doctors name). I had him for a few years and he decided to retire, so then it was Dr. Kaufer by himself. Dr. Peter Kaufer is a fantastic Eye doctor He has taken good care of me. I had cataract surgery. I was a little younger to have it, but he saw something in my eyes that I needed it. From where I live in Marana it is a drive to get to his office, but it’s worth the drive. I would say he is the Best Eye Doctor around.

  Dr Roy Swanson is my ophthalmologist! I’ve been seeing him for awhile now. He is kind professional and easy going! He will answer any question you might have and is amazing at what he does “. After my cataract surgery I wanted to see everything ! It was like my sight had been given back! I’m very careful with my eyes now because I don’t ever want to not see clearly again! Thank you Dr Swanson for your help!!

  I have been a patient, along with my husband, of Dr. Kaufer at Tucson Eye Physicians for well over 20 plus years. He is an excellent ophthalmologist and to me is fantastic to all his patients. The only changes I have seen in him over the past decades is he only gets better and he was excellent to begin with. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to him in a heartbeat!
