BEWARE. I recently got a bill from Pima Heart and Vascular for something covered under my insurance. I called my insurance to see what was going on, and they informed me that the claim was submitted incorrectly by Pima Heart and Vasular. I was advised to have the billing department fix the issue and resubmit the claim. I have talked to the billing dept FOUR times and they refuse to do anything and don’t know what to tell me. I went into the office and was told they’ll send a message to the billing dept but that’s all they can do. So now I’m stuck with a bill I can’t pay for something that’s covered. This is absolutely unacceptable.

45 min wait then doctor had to leave. He still hasn't called me with ekg that nurse did. Service is awful. St. Mary's location more professional and faster service.

I was kind of dreading having to see a cardiologist at a young age but my PCP insisted. Had my first appointment today and every single staff member including the doctor were so wonderful. They are running thorough testing, everything I would’ve hoped for and more. If you need to see cardiology I highly recommend this place!!

I'm a patient seeing 2 different doctors for the past 5 years.
Long waits here are the norm. Over 1.5 hours is not unusual before afternoon appointments. I've stood in line for 15 minutes just checking in.
Excellent doctors.
Large, high turnover admin staff is generally inattentive, bored and spends much time in groups of 3-5 having private conversations.
Pima Heart is a big business that needs to invest in operational supervision. The priority is instead on automation and processes that require low-skill admins.
One good thing,l if you are really forgetful. You'll get at least 6, maybe more emails, text messages and robo calls reminding you of your appointment and requesting "check in".

Extremely disappointed with the wait time and lack of communication. The waiting room was packed and I waited over an hour before asking what was going on. The staff confirmed the doctor was running about an hour behind, yet we continued to wait with no real updates or timeline. If you’re running that far behind, patients deserve proactive communication and the option to reschedule.
