I purchased Prada glasses for my wife a few months ago. My wife had issues with them fitting and went in to get them adjusted. They treated my wife very poorly and the first question they asked was “if we actually purchased them from the store”. After a minute of them looking us up, they grabbed my wife’s glasses and bent them with their hand. They did not heat them up to make it bend easier and they did not offer to clean them after handling the glasses with their hands. It made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them and their attitude was very snobby.
We continue to have bad experiences at this location. A few months ago my wife was sold glasses cleaner and told that by purchasing it. We would be allowed to get refills for free. Once it was emptied we returned to the store and were told it was not true and basically treated like liars.
My wife and I will use our prescriptions elsewhere and hopefully find a store that is more courteous and professional.

I had such a great experience at LensCrafters thanks to Fernanda Villa! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcomed and taken care of. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Fernanda took the time to answer all of my questions, helped me find the perfect frames, and made sure I felt confident in my choice.
Her customer service truly stood out—she was attentive without being pushy and made the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about their customers the way she does. Because of Fernanda, my visit to LensCrafters was not only stress-free but actually enjoyable.
I highly recommend asking for Fernanda Villa if you visit LensCrafters. She goes above and beyond to make sure you leave happy!

I've always been a faithful LensCrafters customer. My aunt who raised me, was the optical manager at Opti-World back in the 90s, which was acquired by LensCrafters during my childhood. I basically grew up in the break room of those stores. The doctors, techs and everyone in between helped raise me and my sister as my aunt worked long, hard hours.
Anyways, all of that to say, I’ve been a loyal LensCrafters gal since my early years. I know that I can trust the brand and the craftsmanship as well as as the details that go into serving each patient.
I have been somewhat saddened and caught off guard my last few encounters at (different) stores. The customer service feels forgotten. The personalized experience appears to be a thing of the past. The quality of care and overall satisfaction comes off as unnoticed an unbothered.
At a store in Boise recently I went in to ask for an eyeglass adjustment. I have plastic coach frames which despite spending over $600 on the frame and lens combo, the plastic is constantly misshaped and becomes so loose that they are bothersome and useless. Usually the opticians and techs will gladly assist and offer tips or suggestions to go forward with. This time I was helped by a young man who asked me no less than 3 times to go on Google and give him a positive rating. I hadn’t even tried the adjusted frames on yet and he was barking off store location details to ensure I applied this raving review to the correct store and staff. I left that day feeling disheartened by the overbearing begs to give high ratings for a splendid performance, which in turn took away all of his time, effort and genuine connection he could’ve made instead to garner an authentic impression. Not a huge deal but a lasting yucky feeling just the same
Now yesterday I went into my local store (which is more than an hour away from my home ) after leaving my 6 year olds first comprehensive eye exam with a pediatric ophthalmologist. To our surprise, she needed glasses. And the sooner the better, based off her results. I knew that LensCrafters could get us some nice eyewear quickly, rather than using another provider who took our insurance. Those orders can take weeks at times.
Let’s just say, the ladies that helped with putting together our order and dispensing it once complete, both lacked customer connection. The transactions felt rushed, bothersome and unimportant. I answered several questions more than 3 times which showed that the employee had not listened and was simply making another sale.
The staff were uninterested and unimpressed when I suggested we just go with a simple poly lens, no fancy add ons - simply because this would be my 6 year olds very first pair of glasses - which I almost expect will be lost or broken sooner than we hope. She scoffed and told me if I wanted same day results I’d have no choice but to go with high end lenses as that is just how this works.
Truthfully, I had already prepared to pay whatever cost just to get her something as quickly as possible. However the way the availability of products and services was rattled off like I was wasting their time was simply off putting. There was zero explanation or details given on the benefits of the extras which would be on the lenses. There was no review of anything at all. We were not offered any additional breakdown of what to expect or anything at all. And as far as these ladies knew. We had zero knowledge of using/wearing eyeglasses - especially for a young child.
When we picked up the completed glasses, another lady assisted with the dispensing. She asked my 6 year old “how do they fit? Do you want to change anything?” And when she didn’t get much of a response she replied “well that’s it. You’re good to go.”
I had to ask if we would be getting a case, which after spending nearly $300 on kids raybans, I’d think this is standard.
She paused and found the case. Handed it off and walked away.
No cleaning cloth included. And the lenses were already covered in fingerprints because a rushed “fitting” was given, with little time spent
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
