  Hands down the best eye appointment I’ve ever had. I landed at the Hayden store after losing my prescription sunglasses on a flight to Phoenix and found myself in the capable, kind hands of Dr. Yousif. She was brilliant, kind, communicative—a wonder of a person and professional. Brittany helped me in the office and she was equally tremendous. The equipment here is state of the art, which made the visit thoroughly enjoyable. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  My eye exam was awful. Cost was not disclosed to me beforehand. I had asked about contacts prior to my eye exam, and they performed the ‘contacts’ examination without asking me or discussing the cost with me. Afterwards, they charged me $100 for the exam without telling me. When I requested an itemized receipt post-examination, I was told it was ‘not possible’ to print one for me to see before I paid and that it would be emailed to me much later. Upon receiving the itemized receipt, they also charged me $22 extra dollars for a ‘class’ to try on my contacts without discussing with me whatsoever. They told me it was impossible to even receive my contact prescription until I pay and take the mandatory class which was not discussed until calling after. I had to call twice to receive a partial refund and was told I would not be refunded $100 for the exam as it was already done on me, without my knowledge or consent.

  We have been coming to Pearle Vision for many, many years. This was probably the most disappointing visit we've ever had. The gentleman helping us was not sure of himself, has a hard time explaining clearly to my husband about the frames. He wanted what the process was as well as the special deal they were running for a second pair of glasses. We were told multiple times because we asked for clarification multiple times, that the first pair would go through insurance as usual, and the second pair we would only pay for the frames and the lenses would be free. The gentleman was writing everything down on a Post-It note so we did not even get the receipt until after we left via email. Upon looking at my daughter's receipt, we realize that we did not get the second pair of lenses at no charge. I just went into the store, and I am now being told that because she had single vision that there was only a percentage off the lenses and the frames for the second pair. The staff took no responsibility in what they presented to us. Our trust level with this location at Sonora Village is very low at this point.
