Carly is the best spin instructor out of all the cycling studios I’ve gone too! She’s always so upbeat and has the most unique choreography! Cycle bar is lucky to have her as an instructor! I always get an awesome workout from her classes!

Love the classes at CycleBar Scottsdale! I’m newer to the area and CycleBar always becomes my home wherever I go. The team, both instructors and front desk, truly go above and beyond for their members- whether it be helping a loose clip on a shoe, adjust bike settings, or remember a fact about their life! Highly recommend CB Scottsdale & being a part of the community.

Best spin studio in the valley! The monitors on the bikes at a competitive edge as well as the leaderboard to track your stats and compete with others in a fun community building way. Instructors are both friendly and knowledgeable, offering an excellent product of a ride. The front desk staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, always Happy to lend to helping hand or celebrate milestones, birthdays, and other big life moments! In a few months, I am moving and one of the hardest things to replace will be the community and fun that I have from this studio, not to mention the kick ass out that comes along with it!

Physical Assault and Racism at CycleBar Scottsdale on March 21 at 8:30 AM I am writing this review to document a very disturbing incident I witnessed during a CycleBar class on Saturday, March 21, at approximately 8:30 AM. During the class, a woman seated in the front row was riding while briefly using her phone. Another rider suddenly got off her bike, approached her from behind, and physically struck her while shouting aggressive and hostile remarks. From my position in the back corner of the room, I could not hear every word exchanged, but the interaction was clearly confrontational and escalated into physical contact. The instructor, Maya, acknowledged the situation and stated that she knew both individuals, asking them to calm down and behave. However, the class was not stopped, and the situation was not fully addressed in the moment. Roughly 10 minutes later, the woman who had been struck left the class. After the session ended, I spoke with the woman outside. She explained that she had been texting her husband briefly during the ride when another participant approached her, told her to get off her phone, and then escalated the situation into physical aggression. She also shared that she attempted to cancel her membership immediately following the incident, but despite multiple follow-ups over the past week, her request has not been honored. From what I observed and what was shared with me, this situation raises serious concerns about safety, accountability, and how conflicts are handled within the studio. No individual should ever be subjected to physical aggression in a fitness class environment. Additionally, when an incident like this occurs, there should be immediate intervention, clear de-escalation, and follow-up support for the person affected. There are also broader concerns about fairness and sensitivity. The woman who was targeted is a Muslim woman of color, and the nature of the interaction, combined with the lack of resolution afterward, raises concerns about whether bias may have played a role and whether the response from management has been adequate. A fitness studio should be a safe and inclusive space for everyone—regardless of background, identity, or personal circumstances. What occurred that morning did not reflect those values. CycleBar management needs to: • Take incidents involving physical aggression seriously and respond immediately • Ensure instructors are trained to properly stop and manage escalating situations • Provide appropriate support and resolution for affected members • Uphold a clear commitment to safety, inclusion, and accountability This situation was deeply upsetting to witness. No one should feel unsafe in a space meant for health and community. I hope CycleBar takes this matter seriously and implements meaningful changes to prevent anything like this from happening again.l

If you can go somewhere else, I'd suggest it. I rode at Cyclebar in East Mesa for over a year and did 96 rides so I'd consider myself an experienced rider. Unfortunately the location closed so I took a break and then eventually decided to try a different location, being Scottsdale. Naturally, the instructors were different than what I experienced at Mesa. I didn't expect the differences to be so negative that I'd have to walk out of a class halfway through. The majority of the instructors SCREAM into the microphone, they all talk WAY too much throughout the class, they constantly were starting class late, and the music volume was extreme. I love having the loud music to spin to but they allowed it to be way too loud causing it to be unbearable. The Mesa staff asked new riders to arrive 15 minutes early so they could be set up on the bike before the class started; now I understand new riders don't/can't always arrive early but it seemed as though every new rider was still getting set up 5 minutes into the class starting which caused a major distraction and interrupted the overall flow. It got to the point where I had zero desire to go to any classes. I decided to freeze my account for a couple months to get a break. The first staff member didn't freeze my account at all so I was charged the full price when it should've been a different rate (a fraction of the regular price). I noticed it was wrong so I reached out and the GM "fixed" it. Ultimately, it wasn't fixed appropriately AGAIN and I decided to just cancel my membership as a whole. It took an ENTIRE WEEK to speak to a manager on the phone (because they NEVER answer no matter the time of day). This manager promised she'd look into the issue and get back to me within 3 days which I agreed to. A WEEK passed with no contact. So I had to call the studio AGAIN 6 times IN A ROW before someone finally answered. Of course, the manager wasn't there and the staff member said she'd "pass along a message including my request to be contacted the next day". It's pointless to make a trip into the studio because the chances of a manager actually being there are ZILCH. It's the next day and it's been radio silence; I requested a refund and to cancel my membership on 02/28 and it's still NOT rectified. I'm beyond frustrated at the lack of communication, professionalism, and consideration from this business. At the end of the day, money is money no matter the amount and I'm due a refund because of their poor training to begin with. This location owner should absolutely reach out to the East Mesa owner and get some tips because boy do they need it! I love cycling but they've definitely ruined it for me! (03/24/26) 04/06/26: The "owner" responding to reviews is not the actual owner. They state they resolved my billing concerns but that's a complete lie as I never got refunded for the wrongful charge. Anytime they've provided "a direct contact" phone number or email, its the same information that never gets responded to being that it's just the studio's phone number-not a manager's direct contact info.
