  Loved this gym. I agree with others reviewers i don't think this gym will reopen. I live behind the gym and pass by daily. I do witness several work trucks park around the gym but not sure. All other business do have light. BUT yes the other night all lights on the gym side where off so who knows.

  It's permanently closed cancel your membership don't waste your time with this company who won't even give you an honest answer truthfully ! their most likely takeing your money & not even going too tell you that they cant renew the least on the building that they're renting but they are willing to take your cash 🚮🗑️ and I'm not even with this gym or any gym ! It's been over 2 months they're not going to reopen come on now 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

  If the gym is not open by 10/30/2025 I am cancelling my membership. There are ways to mitigate a power outage. Simple get back a backup generator. I went to another location and was turned away even though you say we have access to other locations. With that said, the clock is ticking planet closed! UPDATE: I went to cancel before the new month and they not only want to charge me $39 for cancellation but they want to charge me the annual fee of $39. The gym has been closed for two months and they charged me a membership fee those months. This is the worse grifting from a gym I have ever seen. The chances of me returning are next to zero. Their customer service over the phone offered zero assistance. Planet Fitness if you are reading this, I WILL BE DISPUTING THOSE CHARGES. To all others do your homework before joining this gym! UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: The email they asked me to send a message to is bogus! The email bounced back undeliverable. 11/5 Update: They charged my card. I guess they like bad press because they are about to get it, along with complaint to: Arizona Attorney Generals Office, FTC, BBB. Not to mention the host of reviews I am about to leave.

  Have gone to this location for about 8 years now and everything was really good; no problems with Planet Fitness as a company at all. But this location has been closed for 3 and a half months now (I first saw this issue over July 4th weekend) due to a “power issue” and there was no communication to members through email (I searched my inbox), just a handwritten sign on the door “no power”, they finally updated the app more recently to say “temporarily closed.” At this point I just look at it every time I pass it on the light rail to check if there are cars in the parking lot yet, and… nope. Corporate must not care about this location if it’s been this long and they haven’t done what they need to to fix it. I mean every other business in this area is closing down too so, *shrug*. We’re just a “rough neighborhood” so we don’t need anything nice, I guess. I’m canceling my membership at this point because there’s no timeline of when they expect to reopen, there aren’t any other PF locations anywhere close to me (I don’t drive) and I’m wasting money not being able to use the gym I’m paying for. The least they could do is give members who have this location as their “home gym” a credit on their accounts while it’s closed. They did that during the first few months of COVID.
