  I am so happy that I found such an amazing optometrist! Dr. Socolof is an outstanding doctor — she explains everything thoroughly and answers all of my questions with patience and clarity. She is truly the best optometrist I’ve ever had. The technician is wonderful and made me feel so welcomed from the moment I walked in. She is incredibly sweet and kind in every way. Michelle the sales associate is also absolutely wonderful! She helped me pick out some cute glasses and clearly explained my insurance options. She went over what might be best for me but always reminded me that I’m the boss and made sure I was completely comfortable with every decision. Outstanding customer care all around!!

  Update your hours if you’re going to close early every day. I’ve been trying to pick my glasses up for a week now. Literally insane. Not to mention the woman who helped me pick my glasses and lenses up charged me for every upgrade imaginable with zero discussion.

  I am so happy I found this place, from start to finish, I could not be more pleased with this office. The technician was very thorough and found/verified my insurance before my exam. Such an easy process when insurance is generally a headache to deal with. Dr. Rachel found a condition in my eye and referred me for treatment that same day. I will definitely be coming back for glasses they have a great assortment including some safety glasses for my job. Also plan to come back every year for my annual eye exams. Thank you to the entire staff!

  I had a very disappointing and concerning experience and will not be returning or recommending this location. My exam with Dr. Socolof felt extremely rushed. I was given a new contact and glasses prescription, and while waiting for my glasses to come in, I wore trial contacts. I could not see clearly out of them at all. I gave myself several days to adjust, assuming it might take time, but my vision remained blurry and uncomfortable. When my glasses arrived, I immediately said “woah” when I put them on because the prescription felt drastically different. I became dizzy almost instantly. I was told it was likely because I was trying them on at the end of the day. However, when I tried them again the next morning with fresh eyes, I felt nauseous, off-balance, and as though the room was spinning. I did not feel stable standing in my own kitchen and certainly did not feel safe driving. I called to express my concerns, making it very clear that something did not feel right and that I felt unsafe wearing the glasses. I was advised to “wear them for 1–2 weeks to get used to them,” despite describing significant dizziness and instability. I am also 33 weeks pregnant, which made the situation even more alarming. I was not offered a recheck appointment, nor was there any urgency shown regarding my safety. Given how poorly I was feeling, I sought a second opinion at Target Optical. I paid $175 for a comprehensive exam, and the doctor there immediately identified that the prescription I had been given was too strong. She expressed concern that I had been advised to continue wearing it and stated that I should have been re-evaluated when I first reported symptoms. Although I did not want to return to Pearle Vision after this experience, I ultimately went to a different location (not Dove Valley) to have the lenses corrected. The staff there agreed that I should have been brought back in for a recheck as soon as I reported dizziness and instability. This experience was frustrating, expensive, and, most importantly, felt unsafe. I cannot recommend this location.
