The reason why I gave this business 2 starts instead of one is that getting a full refund was easy. I have no clue what went wrong: whether the main doctor failed to asses my eyes correctly, or something in the production line went wrong on their side-but my left lens in the new glasses I got from them made me see just blurry stuff: glasses were totally useless. All my time spent there was a waste, and that was a lot of time as they cramp clients every 30 min but have not means to fulfill that load in a timely manner. I had good experience with this franchise in a different state, but can't recommend this location . So: Up to you: do you feel lucky that your prescription will be fine? Do you have lots of time on coming back and forth? I don't.

I visited LensCrafters in Desert Ridge Mall, Phoenix, AZ recently. The experience was outstanding. The personnel was knowledgeable and helpful, and the eye doctor knowledgeable. What impressed me was that my new glasses came in three days only, over a weekend, even though the promise was 10-14 days. I ordered progressive glasses and I wear progressive glasses for five years. This is the first time I put a pair of progressive glasses on my nose and they fit perfectly and did not produce me any discomfort like dizziness or period of adaptation. That means the prescription was right and the new glasses were adjusted very well. I am not easy to impress, but this time I was.

Desert Ridge location is large with many glasses and designer glasses to choose from. Lucinda was very helpful and knowledgeable. Bought a pair of Burberry prescription sunglasses….can’t wait for them to come in. Glad they accept many insurance plans. Will definitely return to Lens-Crafters in the future.

I did my eye exam and also bought my reading glasses at LensCrafters in Desert Ridge in August of 2025. I found some sports glasses online and wanted to order one. I called LensCrafters to get my PD measurements on 10/5/25. Lady name Lucinda answered the phone and refused to give me my PD measurements. I will need to find out if that is legal.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
