If I could, I would give them a minus rating. My mom has been with Fry's pharmacy for 20-30 years. She's 83 years old. She just had her kidney removed and she had a setback with a bad infection which caused her to be in extreme pain. She's on pain management And because of the setback the doctor had increased her pain medication for a short, three or four days the pharmacy who has done this before is now telling me that I should cut her other pain medicine in half the pill is extremely tiny and I tried cutting it in half and it goes into a powder. They don't care. I asked them would it not be safer for her to take the 15 instead of me, cutting a 10 mg in half and having to guess at the amount, they then wanted me to turn in her pain medicine the lower dose for her to have a short supply, which means that if she only needed the 15 mg for two or three days, she would have nothing to take after that. This pharmacy at dove valley has no compassion and they certainly certainly are not concerned about the patient because they're asking us to guess by cutting a pill in half having it crumble and we can just guess at what might be the right amount.
There are so many other things this pharmacy did leading up to this, but before we had any issues, the same exact pharmacist had the same exact scenario with my mom and actually all she said was make sure she doesn't take them both and I said, of course not, and we went on our way After my mom had lost her medication in Prescott because she was taken from Prescott to Phoenix by ambulance and her medication fell out of her suitcase at that point they started treating my mom as a liar and drug seeker which she is in no uncertain terms NOT!! Shame on you Fry's pharmacy!!! I worked for a Pharmacy and I know the rules and I know they could have filled the short supply as the doctor who wrote the prescription is the pain management Dr. from the same office who writes all her pain medications. I found that when I mentioned Fry's pharmacy to any nurses at the doctors office at the doctors office or the hospital they all have the same reaction don't go there.

Very disappointed with how I was treated here. I asked an associate named Justin a simple question and he acted like I didn’t even exist, just stood there and ignored me. The pharmacy manager saw what was happening and said, “I’ll help you,” but when I asked her if she would correct her employee’s behavior, she ignored that question completely too.
It was honestly odd and uncomfortable. There are way too many other options for me to ever come back and accept that kind of treatment. I’ll also be contacting corporate about this experience.
