BEWARE OF CONTINUOUS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES AFTER CANCELLATION! DO NOT GIVE THIS GYM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION!
I joined during their opening phase and became a “founding member.” I quickly felt comfortable and loved the training I received. I trained with Connor. Connor was attentive to all the members, he ensured everyone had good form and pushed the members to work hard. He was the reason I joined the gym.
Connor left the gym with no notice. After his departure, the dynamic of the gym changed. The gym felt like a good ol’ boys club. The trainers were not attentive to the members. The trainers seemed to neglect the less experienced members. Some of the members lacked proper form, and the trainers failed to correct them. The trainers were not as attentive as they should have been to the members.
I had to cancel my membership because my husband lost his job. Around May of 2023, I called the gym, there was no answer, so I left a voicemail advising the gym of the need to cancel. After a few days, I got a call from one of the trainers and was told that my account would be placed on a “freeze” so that I could maintain my “founding member” pricing. I was never told that the “freeze” would expire.
At some point, the gym began charging my bank account. When I called the gym to ask about the unauthorized charges, I was told that I need to give 30 days notice to cancel my membership. I’ve given the required notice, but now one of the owners, Nicole, refuses to return my call. I’m simply asking she acknowledge receipt of the notice and confirm that my account is closed and I will no longer be charged.
While this gym has the potential to be great, it’s just not there, especially for the price. Given the hassle it has been to cancel this membership, including the numerous unauthorized charges to my bank account, I would caution becoming a member of this gym. Whatever you do, do not give the gym access to your bank account!

I looked around for a good gym/bootcamp experience and this one was the best. The format is a daily workout and the workout calendar cycles through heavy lifting days and cardio/endurance days, including upper body and lower body splits. The result is you get a well-rounded protocol even if you only go 2-3 times a week. The BFT hotness is their proprietary heart rate monitor that tracks HR ❤️ and Effort 💪 (no idea how, wizard magic maybe?) and helps you target prescribed heart rate zones during the workout. Turns out, you're not supposed to kill yourself during every workout (‼️) and that's what makes coming to 5-6 classes a week a reasonable effort and not a one-way ticket to burnout. Mostly I was just super excited that they have barbells because I want to do back squats and other bootcamps in the area don't have that equipment. Shocking. A note on the 8 Week Challenge: It's very manageable. The meal plan is not endless chicken and rice, and the workouts don't rely on extra cardio sessions or special supplement concoctions. I can't speak to the results yet, but I'll update this review. Finally, pricing: also reasonable. Who knows what the pricing structure will be in the future, but right now it costs more than planet fitness and less than the CrossFit gym down the street from my work. Think $150-$225 depending on your schedule and budget. It's worth it for me as someone who struggles to self-motivate and put in the work without a witness. 👀 Plus it's nice to have 1-2 trainers per class ready to help with form, or spotting, or encouragement.
