Safeway Pharmacy management!!!!!! STAFF BETTER!!! This one star review is related to two things. *Today- the scheduling of a vaccine days prior only to get there to find out it can't be done there due to only one staff running the whole pharmacy. *No answer when calling pharmacy directly on multiple occasions in the past 3 weeks attempting to get a new script request sent to dr and get refills completed. I scheduled this specifically today due to starting a new medication in one week that prevents me from getting most vaccines. Online scheduling seemed convenient and the store is just a block away from home. I worked a 12 hr shift last night but needed this vaccine ASAP to start the medication. I am dead tired but have had to drive to another Safeway to get this done. Waiting another hour beyond what I planned for. With scheduling days in advance it seems like someone could have let me know that there was an issue with staffing that had come up or a courtesy call this AM so I could have been aware and saved some driving and waiting time. This was NOT convenient and will never utilize the pharmacy app for anything important. It's hard enough to get through on the telephone lately at the 83rd and Cactus location- where unfortunately all my scripts are at.

I never have anything but problems at this pharmacy which is quite unfortunate since it’s the most convenient pharmacy for me. The staff is never helpful. The medication is seldom fully in stock. They do not communicate with client or prescriber for any questions necessary. There’s no sense of urgency or priority even in a weeks time window. Just disappointing all around. There’s too many other options out there and living in the city they aren’t that much further away. I most certainly will be putting in the extra couple miles to not have my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy again.
