Unfortunately, I ordered just lenses, due to insurance restrictions. They were pretty scratched up upon my recent order, so I NEEDED to do something as it was getting hard to see. The reason I purchased lenses only, is that my insurance carrier will only cover a single pair of glasses (Frames) in a 12 month period, but lenses haven't the sane restriction(s). So, I purchased AR Coating, UV Treatment, Progressive, EPP (Photo Grey) to the tune of $ 391.00 (After Insurance) WELL worth what they cost.! Well, I recently scratched the left lense, and i was pretty upset due to how new they are. What a total bummer. So, I JUST called to ask if they could help me in any way. I managed to speak to the Store Manager. I was told that she would order me a new set of lenses to try to make this right for me. This gesture was AWESOME and SO VERY sincerely appreciated.! For the amount I paid, it seems another $ 39.00 for insurance is a SOUND investment for anyone to make, who might be undecided and as such, is money well spent. I'd recommend this to EVERYONE who purchases glasses. As well as thie exact store. I've since discovered that shopping at Pearle Vision for your eye care needs is a smart choice, and their Store Manager is someone who really cares about her customers and subsequent repeat business. Again, I cannot recommend Pearle Vision at Lake Pleasant any more strongly.
- MKMr KcDec 16, 20251.0"STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE", I would not even get it a 1 Star. I am beyond disappointed with my experience at this establishment and wish I could give it zero stars. My teenager recently went in for his first time contact lens fitting and the entire experience was a complete failure. The staff showed absolutely no interest in helping him learn to insert or remove the lenses. They literally sat there and watched him struggle, offering no guidance or assistance whatsoever. It was incredibly frustrating and disheartening to witness. Even more infuriating, instead of offering practical solutions, they suggested he come back for a re-evaluation in a month to see if he could "do it on his own." This is unacceptable! A first-time contact lens wearer needs proper instruction and support, not to be left to fail and be dis-hearting to ever wear contacts. To add, after numerous attempts to obtain the signed prescription, they finally handed it over without so much as a follow-up exam or check from the doctor to see how the lenses fit his eyes. The staff's unprofessionalism and complete lack of empathy are astounding. They appear more interested in sitting around than actually providing quality care and assistance to their patients. I would strongly advise anyone seeking contact lenses to avoid this place at all costs. They are incompetent and clearly prioritize laziness over patient care. Steer clear!
