The Fry's Pharmacy at 59th Ave and Bell Road went from best to absolute worst. I was calling in prescriptions on Monday. She said they would TRY TO GET THEM BY SATURDAY!! How can they consider five days to be acceptable? There were several that I am totally out of. She will TRY to get them by tomorrow, but NO GUARANTEES!! She acted like being a week behind on filling prescriptions was no big deal. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to Walmart.

This place lacks organization and customer service. Very rude and full of excuses on why they take 2-3 days to fill a prescription. It’s been like this for months. The lady who works the drive thru acts like she hates her job and moves at a snails pace. I shouldn’t have to show up or call to get them to start filling my medication. I asked the pharmacist what happens when you need your meds same day. He stated that you have to come inside and wait 30 minutes to get meds filled that day. They don’t read notes doctor sends with prescriptions because mine stated to fill ASAP. They need to find new staff for this pharmacy.

Go somewhere else with your prescription. Placed on hold for over 30 minutes for ONE question about my medication. The only person to answer didnt know ANYTHING and placed me on another hold to speak to a pharmacist. IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DRUGS OR CANT ANSWER QUESTIONS, WHY WORK AT A PHARMACY?!

I will preface this by saying I will continue to use this pharmacy due to location and the kindness of the evening staff, however, I strongly urge everyone to be aware of exactly what your Dr. wrote for your Rx. I picked up my fertility medication in October and read the instructions on the bottle that indicated I should take 1 tablet once a day for 5 days. The strange thing was that there were 10 pills in the bottle. After blood work to see if the medication took, I was disappointed to hear it did not work and the Dr would have to up my dose. I asked her if I should take the remaining pills and she was taken back because I shouldn't have had any pills remaining. She called the pharmacy manager and she insisted that their system said the correct instructions. I double checked my bottle and confirmed that the intended dosage was not the one printed on the label. In called in again and informed the manager to look into her systems and to make sure there is some kind of investigation because something as serious as a dosage problem could cost someone gravely. So the moral of the story... know what your doctor has given you and the proper dosage and check it with what is printed on the bottle.
