When my doctor sends my prescriptions over every month after my pain med refill appointment, I sit there and wait for some notification that the prescription is ready. Usually it’s a text. If I were to do nothing, then nothing would get done most the time. I have to call them to start the process myself. Like hey guys, where’s my prescriptions my doctor sent you? Otherwise the order would just sit there ignored and unprocessed. When I come in to pick up the order they do acknowledge that they received the order from my doctor but then hem and haw as to why they didn’t start filling until I started rattling their chains. I could go days without saying anything and nothing would have gotten done. And then sometimes I find out they are out of my meds and I have to wait an additional week for it to come in so I have to scramble to find the med somewhere else.
