  Poorly managed and inefficient. No receptionist. No communication with customers waiting. LabCorp in Fountain Hills is a better option.

  I keep hoping this place will get better but I’m equally disappointed each time I go. Definitely will not try again after leaving without service yet again today. I’m not sure why they even take appointments as they cannot possibly keep up with the number of bookings which leads to a frustrated overworked employee and room full of angry people.

  I have never posted a negative review before, but I feel this is necessary. I have never been treated so poorly at this Sonora Quest location as during my visits on Nov 7 and Nov 11. Despite having appointments, I waited over 30 minutes, received conflicting drop-off instructions, and watched staff take another patient ahead of me who hadn’t signed in or scheduled. When I calmly voiced my frustration, I was made to wait even longer and treated dismissively. One staff member refused to assist me until I hung up my muted work call, leaving the room to prove a point. The lack of compassion, respect for patients’ time, and empathy was striking. I even had to help two elderly patients use the kiosk because staff wouldn’t. The experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing, especially in a facility serving a senior community.

  The workers at Sonora Quest Labs need some extra training in social skills. I accompanied my 100-year-old father there to have blood taken. We were alone in the waiting room for 40 minutes. The 2 workers saw us multiple times, but chose neither to acknowledge our presence nor to tell us how long our wait might be until I finally asked. The answer, " you'll be called in a few minutes" which turned into 15 minutes. I will look around for a different lab since I found the atmosphere quite unfriendly.

  I have been coming to this location for many years. The staff is great, and I’ve never had a bad phlebotomist. Even take home studies are explained well.
