Dr. Kasey in the Sherwood office provided exceptional care during my recent visit. She truly understands hearing difficulties—especially how devices handle everyday sounds like traffic while walking the dog or conversations with tellers. She listened carefully to my experiences and explained why too much noise reduction can make things feel too quiet and unsafe (like not hearing cars approaching from behind), but no reduction at all is also hard to adjust to as well.
She skillfully repaired a possible factory defect on-site—replacing the receiver wire and fitting new receiver covers—without having to send it back to the factory, ensuring everything performs reliably. She always shares excellent tips for daily cleaning and maintenance to prevent wax buildup and extend device life, and reminds me the team is always there if needed. Phonak hearing aids are the best and always lead the competitors; Kasey offers other options, but I’ll stay with Phonak now. I have a pair of Phonak 312 that’s almost 8 years old that I’m having trouble parting with—even though my insurance will help buy others, which I tried, the Phonak can’t be beat. I purchased a right-ear-only I90, and Kasey explained when I bought it that a pair works better, but costs and stubbornness made me try anyway. I like it, but thank the Lord the old Phonak 312 pair, even out of warranty, still performs well. The newest technology is great in loud environments like church concerts, but not for walking the dog; however, the user can adjust noise levels and save programs for future use. She has helped me understand, make adjustments, and will be there to help make informed decisions in the future—I highly recommend her. Kasey understands and is always accommodating. I’ve been with her almost 8 years; appreciate her kindness and the fact that she is always up to date on new developments, especially with Phonak hearing aids. Her follow-up plan—return in 1 week to check progress, then regular adjustments and checks—shows real commitment to making sure nothing changes and everything continues working as intended.
Linda at the front desk is knowledgeable too and always friendly, efficient, and skilled at cleaning hearing aids when issues arise that can’t be handled at home. She is always helpful setting up payment plans and rescheduling too. This team focuses on what works best for the patient. Highly recommend—5 stars!
