- TSTristan SmithNov 29, 20175.0Upon walking into this magnificent store in it's lovely location, the first thing they do is say a very friendly greeting, effortlessly recalling my name. This store makes me feel at home, unlike all of the corporate pharmacies that just make you feel uncomfortable from the moment you walk in, until you walk out the door. I used to be an opioid addict, but I got help for it through the use of buprenorphine hydrochloride sublingual tablets. Once I used to go to Wal-Mart, or Walgreens, or even Kroger to get my medication, they'd always give me that look like I'm the scum of the earth. It's as if I can tell they're thinking, "Oh God, here comes that kid with the heroin addiction coming to get his fix." It made me feel absolutely vilified, as if I weren't already carrying enough social stigma. However, at this godsend of a pharmacy I never have to feel that way, I feel as if they understand this addiction of mine. And even if they don't understand at all, at least they don't treat me like dirt. I will NEVER go to another pharmacy. Usually at smaller pharmacies such as these, the price of out-of-pocket medications is more than other bigger pharmacies, although surprisingly, this location is much cheaper than its competitors! One day I will go to medical school, and when I become a doctor, I hope I will be able to make my patients feel half as good as they make theirs! Thank you to all of The Drug Store employees, keep up the exceptional work!
