I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this pharmacy has failed many times to fill my daughter’s seizure medications in a timely manner leading to her missing doses on multiple occasions. We typically call her meds in 3+ days in advance and almost always end up having to wait in the store while they’re filled last minute (or told that it’s out of stock). If you’re just filling the one-off prescription here and there, go for it. But, if you have recurrent prescriptions that are critical to you or your family members health and wellbeing, find a different pharmacy.

I'm done with the Kroger pharmacy on Salem Rd. I had a prescription called in yesterday at 4:30 pm. I go there to pick it up today at 12:30 pm and was told it wasn't ready to come back after 2:00 pm. The prescription hadn't even been put in to be filled according to the lady behind the counter. If this was the first time that this has happened to me, I wouldn't be here leaving this review. This is almost every time. The other times that it hasn't been ready, they usually say come back in 20 minutes. This leads me to believe this is being done on purpose so people walk around the store and purchase items they wouldn't have purchased if their prescription was ready when they got there. Again, this is the last prescription I'm getting filled here. I'll be taking my prescriptions somewhere else. Edit: I went back at 5:30 pm and one of my prescriptions still was not ready. They had to manually count it out because they said their dispensing robot was malfunctioning. Twenty-five hours after my doctor called it in. I know I'm not the only one this is happening to. What's concerning is how many people this is happening to that can't go one day without taking their meds. Do better Kroger.

TL;DR Without a doubt the slowest pharmacy in town. BY A LONG SHOT. My wife and I have used Kroger for groceries pretty much since we moved into town several years ago. We began using their pharmacy three years ago since we are Kroger Plus customers so it just made things a lot more convenient. Unfortunately, due to lack of training, care, and or workload, expect to wait at least 24-36 hours for your prescriptions to actually be ready. Did you put in a fill request on their app earlier this morning? Expect to wait 24 hours with no notification, only to request an update and be told “it will take 45 minutes to an hour, but I can’t put it as top priority”. I’m interested to see what the default priority system is considering we were told this at nearly every pickup per month the past year. The staff is friendly, but my goodness, whatever system Kroger pharmacy uses to communicate with customers and fill prescriptions in a timely manner is NOT WORKING
