I had a great experience with this practice I had an upper jaw tooth extracted and expected to be in a lot of pain afterward but I am on the day after an no pain. I am also not taking any medication for pain. I thank Dr Davis for his work and kindness in answering my questions as well as telling me what to expect at every stage of my extraction. I found everyone I had contact with at this practice to be both friendly and knowledgeable and they always smiled. Thank you so much.

I had an upper jaw tooth pulled that my local Dentist discovered to be pulling away from bone and dying. The folks at University Oral and Face Surgery were great fist they explained all the many things that could go wrong and at the same time giving me assurance that those would not happen or if they did what could be done t correct. My Surgeon was Dr Davis He took his time explaining what would be done and always asking if I had any questions He handled the removal very quickly and painlessly after a few more minutes and his final checking the nurse was giving me instructions for caring for the next couple of days and told me that they had a nurse on call on the weekend should I have any questions or problems. Everyone I came in contact with and it was 4-5 people at this practice were friendly smiling and seemed very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this practice if you need work done like this. I am on the day after and no pain

I have been seeing Dr. Fairburn for many years. The entire staff is very professional and caring. The amount of time his staff takes to make sure I am taken care of is what you would want if you have to visit them. Dr. Fairburn takes time to explain the procedure and answer any questions. This is where you want to go if you want the best.

Primarily, their online section for completion of medical forms, is abysmal. It has a tendency to repeatedly rocket your position to the top of the page you have already completed, therefore forcing you to waste time hunting for where you left off. Waste their paper by filling out the paper medical forms. It will save you time and hopefully, urge them to fix this hindrance.
The staff was professional, office was very clean, and distractions minimal.
The cost of the services at this place have never been reasonable, in my opinion, but when referred by your dentist, you are in a position of "pay the price or face the consequences". It is a larger office, with a lot of (only female) workers to pay, so prices are high.
I, most recently, had a tooth extracted. I was not informed that I should discontinue my 2 blood thinners (cardiac) prior to my procedure. I bled heavily for the next 24 hours after my extraction. Procedure was on a Friday, so my choice of follow up care would have been an emergency room with this amount of blood. I have quite a bit of medical training, so I chose to care for myself, but this was rough!
In all, the clinic is reliable and will resolve your dental issues, feel sure.

Patient care was poor. Except for the surgeon, the people with whom I had to interact were not friendly.
Additionally, I was unaware there was a prescription with the initial (financial) papers. I discovered the Rx in the middle of the night, 3 days after the surgery (!), when my jaw pain had migrated up my ear and into my brain! Then I read the Rx instruction, "Start medication the morning of surgery."!! I wish someone would have asked me if I'd started the pain medication! Better yet, when given the initial papers with the cost of procedure, etc., the scheduler could have clearly pointed out, "Here is a prescription. Begin taking it the morning of surgery!" I assume it's expecting too much for someone in the clinic to call a day or two before the surgery to ensure the prescription had been filled, and show some amount of concern for the patient.
