We had to take our 8 month old baby here the first day of our vacation. I was so impressed with the absolute kindness of all staff— registration, the nurse, and the doctor! They were so kind about bringing such a young baby in and listened thoroughly to my concerns. I am so pleased (and relieved) that this was such a positive experience!

Absolutely do not give your phone number when you register to anyone in this office. I have always taken great satisfaction. In the fact that I do not get spam calls. My company sent me to this doctor’s office. They made me register. I reluctantly gave some of my Information which included my phone number. Starting the very next day, I’m getting over 20 malicious calls.
Take my advice and do not give your information because it will be sold To people Who do not need it?

Our son woke up with a terrible sore throat, achy, chills, slight fever. We are at the beach for a soccer tournament for him so having to visit an urgent care for sickness wasn’t on our bingo card. Scheduling was easy, we were called back within 10 minutes of our appointment time and out of there within 30 minutes with Rx already ready at CVS when we arrived. Minnie (the NP) was knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Highly recommend!
First time going to this urgent care. Picked out an appointment time online and filled out the paperwork ahead of time from home. We didn’t wait long in the waiting room (10 min tops?). There was one person ahead of us and many in the waiting room when we left. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and did their job. They did not offer unnecessary services. The room and waiting area appeared clean. We were in and out, questions answered, doctor note in hand, and scripts sent to pharmacy. Easy- peasy.
The negative, it wasn’t obvious if there was handwashing/sanitizing going on between patients. In most medical facilities it is the standard to see that. Took 1 star off for that.
Being from out of town, my insurance company directed me to this clinic. Dr. Astin was great, but he was the only positive about this place. I waited an additional day after my fall because, when I called, I was told their x-ray machine was out of service. The doc was going to give me after-care instructions following my x-ray, but the machine went down again while they were trying to take my images. The doc referred me to another facility, but my insurance wouldn’t cover me there. I called the clinic and told them I’d come back (about a 30-minute drive each way) when their machine was fixed. After multiple calls to the clinic, they said the machine was finally fixed. I drove back to get images and finish my appointment, but was told someone closed the notes and I would have to start over, including paying for another appointment. Unless you absolutely have to come here because of your insurance coverage, I suggest you avoid this place at all costs. There are multiple other options in the area.
