  DO NOT DONATE HERE!!! I've been donating for years at CSL and BioLife so I'm very familiar with how the process goes. I've recently suffered hardships that has left me homeless and living out of my car where I doordash just to afford Hotel rooms. After a month of that I finally was able to rent me out a room that pays out weekly for much much less. However it's been every penny I had to get in it and I had to over the weekend come up with my rent for Monday. I went to KEDPlasma on Saturday early at 9:00 a.m. Where I waited for 3 hours before I was told by the nurse that because their system glitched and I could not take the questionnaire I would not be able to donate. I needed this money desperately and since I was waiting I was not dashing making money. This put me in a very tight spot as I was stressing to come up with money for my rent. Monday I started a new job and I decided to stop back over to see if I could donate. The questionnaire allowed me to complete and I saw another nurse. Where she noticed that I had as she referred to tremors which is just tiny little bit of shaking as I had adjusted quite a bit of coffee on my first day. I did mention that my mom and my grandmother Shake but very badly and it was a neurological thing for which they are prescribed gabapentin. The nurse which I don't understand how she could possibly be a nurse told me that Gabapentin was for neuropathy. As I have been a caregiver and A DSP, I am a certified Med passer in the state of Illinois. And I have some of the residents Gabapentin for that very reason. While I was there the ladies that didn't take you and take your vitals do nothing but complain about two things, one is each other and two are other donors. They move very slow with no sense of urgency. I had three different people enter in my information in the computer over a period of 3 hours. Undoubtedly the problem that I had with that questionnaire had to be that they entered in something wrong. The problem with this place is they spend more effort and energy into trying to find ways not to help you and prevent you from donating stating that it was for me and they're trying to look out for me. I've heard quite a bit of complaining from donors that have been at that location for a long time but this was normal behavior for them. At CSL and BioLife a new donor is treated like royalty, their information is put into the system and they will have a physical inside 30 minutes, you move to the front of the line for everything. I am a local guy and my reviews are in the top 10% in the world. Please click on my reviews and read them as you will see they are overwhelmingly like 95% positive. I'm warning you because I don't want you to have to suffer the way I did and waste my time and money like they did. They even refused to give me the corporate number or at least the number to a regional manager or higher up and said go to the website which we all know disappear in a thin air. Do not donate here instead donate at CSL or BioLife, you will have a much much better experience.
