Went in with ear pain and staff was very pleasant, Rod was amazing with helping my anxiety and checking my vitals. But when the Nurse Practitioner came in it went down hill. She had the bedside manner of a stick. I’m a nurse and I’ve worked with several docs so I had a level of expectation with my medical care. What I was there for wasn’t complicated. She came in, looked at one ear, said “you have an infection, we will give you antibiotics” and walked out. There was no verification of what I was allergic to despite it saying I had allergies in my chart and she wrote me two prescriptions for two things I’m allergic to. I caught it before I left and went back in to ask mentioning that I am allergic to a lot of things. Her reply “well the antibiotics you’re needing won’t work for anything but upper respiratory infections. You need to go see a doctor so they can tell you what to take. God forbid you get real sick because you’ll just be done!” I asked for azithromyacin which is a broad spectrum antibiotic and treats all kinds of things. It is not a first line for ear infections but it does cover it well. So in addition to her not knowing this about medications, not verifying my allergies before she wrote and her 2 second analysis of my diagnosis she ended up letting me know it won’t be resolved, and if I got really sick I would die.
Insanely unprofessional and her lack of education was worrisome. As a pediatric nurse, if I know more than you do about basic diagnosis, there’s an issue. I do not recommend going here at all, find somewhere else unless you have a cut or something they can’t mess up.

Went here back in jan 23,2026. They said i had a 50 co pay due at service. My mom used her card to pay it. All the doctor did was come in say lose weight and stop smoking. Maybe 2 mins maybe... I left and now without authorization they charged my moms card 90 dollars and she wasn't even the patient. I called and all I got was sorry and that's why we put card on file. But I was never informed about it. Worst customer service and would not recommend at all. Just thevies.

Front desk was awesome as usual! Very quick to sign in. I’ve had two very sick teens and A
mber was wonderful with them today! They even said in the car they appreciated her explaining things to them that are happening in the bodies 😊 much appreciated.

My wife went here for her thumb to check out if there was anything broken and the nurse practitioner was probably the most unprofessional and unhelpful human being for an urgent care visit. Will not be revisiting this location again. It was a waste of $50 and I hope that woman does not speak to anyone else that way giving medical care.

been coming here for years, back when it was urgent medcare. always had decent experiences. UNTIL today!
I was denied care (with a very visibly swollen eye) because i did not have a “card to put on file” because in order to do that, they charge you $1.00, and all I had was cash for my copay. I was there 3 weeks ago and was not asked to put a card on file.
But suddenly now, they wont accept cash payments without charging an additional $1.00 to a card “to keep on file.” I will find another urgent care to go to from now. I will never go back to ANY AFC center.
