  First time visit. Staff was very helpful and made registration quick and easy. Minimal wait time. Dr. Marr Walker did a thorough examination.

  This was my first visit. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. That is a huge statement given that the conditions they were working in were less than acceptable. The mall they are located in was working in the HVAC and it was warm. I appreciate their professionalism in the heat. I was there for a contact prescription. My specific prescription needed to be ordered, so I am not able to comment on that just yet. However, I am pretty confident I will be happy with the results.

  I had an amazing experience at this eye doctor’s office from start to finish! The staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The office was clean, organized, and ran on time, which I really appreciated. I also loved how thorough the exam was it gave me a lot of confidence in my care. If you’re looking for a place that truly values patient care and provides top-tier service, I highly recommend this office. Definitely a 5-star experience!

  I rate this place as a 1 star because I was misled to believe that they take my insurance. I came in on Tuesday and I spoke with the receptionist. I asked her did the office take my insurance. She told me yes. She stated that sometimes it’s billed under the company Eyemed and Stated to me she would let me know before my visit, how much my allowance would be. She never contacted me instead I received a call confirming my appt for the upcoming Thursday. I assumed she would tell me in the visit. When I got there she once again acted as if the office took my insurance. I let her know that I had two policies,mine and my husbands. I thought I was ok because she stated she would be using mine because it had the most coverage. All of this was deceptive. They absolutely did not take my insurance. Still in ignorance I paid the 65.00 for the contact exam. Once again being ignorant about my benefits there I was told I had an allowance of 70 dollars for frames and 140 for contacts. I ended up paying for the glasses instead of the contacts. Because they don’t take my insurance I paid 500 plus for the glasses.Me still thinking they were in network It wasn’t until I got home that I realized if they had taken my insurance I would have paid no more than 55 for the eye exam and a extra 200 allowance for the glasses. I feel misled and had I have know before hand I never would have had their services. This makes me feel as though luminous eye care is dishonest, misleading and has bad business practices. This is no way to conduct business and is ethically unacceptable. I will never return and I will definitely share this bad experience with others. If I could I would ask for a full refund. I do understand that I as the insured have to take accountability for not knowing but typically before a service is rendered the patient is advised
