We stopped in to see if they could fix a pair of Costa sunglasses that had a broken arm piece. While they weren't able to completely fix them, they did glue and heat shrink the broken piece back together so that the glasses are useable until we can find a more permanent solution. The staff (especially Jason who “bandaged” the glasses) was very kind and accommodating!

I feel like it’s hard to have a bad experience with a glasses store, but I have in the past. Thankfully LensCrafters is unproblematic (outside occasional slow delivery times but they can’t control that). LensCrafters is always one of the best places to go, especially if you got that good insurance like Eyemed. If you got eyemed? Son, go get some Versace or Gucci frames. The people are friendly and will genuinely talk to you like an equal. Dr. Collins is just the best, seriously, she’ll get you taken care of. If you need good glasses that will last you for a long time, I recommend hitting up LensCrafters.

I ordered glasses online to pickup in store, thinking that this would be safe and easy. I received an email stating my glasses and cleaning kit were delivered on Nov 26. I went to pickup to see that my ordered was not ready for pickup, only the cleaning kit. After reviewing all emails that directed me to LensCrafters they couldn’t be any less concerned about my item that seemed either lost or stolen by them. I was told they don’t do inventory check on online orders giving room for error and unsatisfactory customer service. I was told they are only a pickup hun from the manager and that pretty much there’s nothing they couldn’t do, even though it was delivered to their store. The only compassionate person that was there was Pat. I have called and gone by there almost every day since UPS has delivered my item to see if there’s good news in my where about for my glasses. I really feel like a scam has been done on me, because I don’t have my glasses, LensCrafters not taking responsibility and not doing there do diligence to even ask the driver or have inventory control in place before calling customers to say order is ready for pickup when clearly mine was not. I’m very disappointed and have had the worst experience with Bridgestreet LensCrafters. They don’t care and I won’t ever get anything delivered here again. I hope someone takes accountability, it’s Christmas and it’s just not right that this is handled like this .
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
