  Would give one star if possible. The facility feels outdated and poorly maintained, which made for an uncomfortable experience from the start. During my appointment, the doctor was dismissive and rude. I explained that my nails appeared slightly yellow due to self-tanner — not a fungal infection — but he insisted I was wrong. He proceeded to aggressively shave down my nail to “prove” his point, only to ultimately determine that I was right. The interaction felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I did not feel listened to or respected as a patient. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of privacy. The door was left open during private conversations with the doctor, meaning patients in other rooms could hear and see what was happening. When I politely asked the nurse to close the door, she scoffed at me and said she couldn’t do that. It was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable discussing personal health information. Billing has also been an ongoing issue. I provided my correct insurance information (Select Health) back in July, yet more than eight months later, they are still billing the wrong insurance provider. I have contacted the office multiple times to correct this, and the issue remains unresolved. It is extremely frustrating to repeatedly follow up on something that should have been handled properly the first time. Between the poor bedside manner and the continued insurance billing problems, I cannot recommend this practice.

  Dr. Tibbs and his team are wonderful. I started coming in several years ago with a little spot on the bottom of my foot that turned into a massive mess. Dr. Tibbs saved my foot! As a diabetic I will never let anyone touch my feet but Dr. Tibbs! He has treated me for many broken toes and both feet broken at different times, ingrown toenails, bunion and bunionet surgery and everything else in between. Dr. Tibbs is very caring, straightforward and very personable. I wish all my doctors had such a good personality and hands on manner about their patients. I’m always in and out in a very timely manner. I always enjoy chatting with everyone at my appointments. Dr.Behmer has treated my son who really loves both doctors! My son had to take me to many of my appointments because I couldn’t drive with my feet messed up. So he really got to know both doctors. Dr. Behmer is really down to earth and personable too.

  If I could give a zero I most definitely would. My experience with Dr.Tibbs was very uncomfortable to say the least. While taping my feet he goes on to say that my feet was like my breast they needed support to that I wouldn't go around without having them supported. I couldn't believe he said this referring my breast to my feet...this was most inappropriate I got up got my shoes on and left. I have started legal steps to handle this situation I have as of Tuesday morning made my complaint to the State Medical Broad of Podiatry. I did this because I'm a lady who feels this behavior and comment was not appropriate for a foot doctor. I felt ashamed, embarrassed, dirty. I'm a Christian lady and this took praying on. I also checked you overcharged me on copay

  I am very confident with Dr. Tibbs. He explains the issue and the procedure that will take care of the problem. He takes time to answer my questions. I will always go to Huntsville Podiatry for foot care. The staff are always efficient and caring.
