Terrible staff rude and very unprofessional . I knew I should have took my kids from here when I witness several patients treated poorly and complaining about the staff and service. Lord knows I wish I would have went all way through these reviews before hand.

BEWARE!! Very poor practices at this doctor's office! We were billed over a dozen times (a year and a half after we had left this practice) for a full co-pay instead of a reduced co-pay for seeing a nurse practitioner. After dozens of phone calls, "in-house billing" refused to speak to us about the matter. We contacted Blue Cross and they contacted the clinic manager. The clinic manager "claims" the nurse practitioner sought advice/direction from the doctor at some point, thus causing us to be charged for seeing a doctor. We NEVER saw a doctor! They even charged us for seeing one of their doctors that wasn't seeing patients at the time due to COVID.

The receptionist there are horrible. They don’t own up to their mistakes. Very rude and disrespectful and deserve to be fired.

Called to make a new patient appointment for my 4yr old daughter and was asked which doctor I would like to make one with. I said "Dr. Bell". Then I was asked what insurance I would be using. I said "Tricare". I was then told that "Dr. Bell is no longer taking new patients." It's interesting I was told this AFTER I indicated which insurance I would be using. At this moment in time, Alabama Children's Clinic was a provider in the Tricare Network, by the way. Being a military family already comes with inherent hardships and dealing with establishments such as this one amplifies the difficulty. Denying basic, routine care for a child because, for what ever reason, you deem Tricare as unworthy of your time is disgusting and evil. As it goes, myself and other members of the military will continue defend and fight for your right to turn a blind eye and have zero support for us.

Really disappointed with our experience today. Our kids are normally patients of Dr. Powell, but his office is closed on Tuesdays and his patients are rerouted to Dr. T's office. I called at 3:12pm because my 13-yr old daughter's mild earache had intensified to the point of visible inner ear swelling, sensitivity to touch, and oozing. She was in so much pain and crying so we got into the car, called their office, and they said they could see her at 3:30pm in the Madison office so we headed that way directly from Owens Cross Roads. We checked in at 3:43. We ended up never getting to see the doctor despite waiting til 4:51pm while my daughter rocked back and forth with tears coming down her face in clear view of the receptionist. They didn't care at all that she was hurting as patient after patient went before her, presumably because they were true Dr. T patients. There's no sense of urgency or compassion at the front desk. I don't know about any of the other staff or doctor, but the receptionist is the face of the office and she should have put some urgency into her care. We ended up leaving and going to the Hsv Hospital Pediatric ER.
