This approach supports faster healing, speeds up the final restoration process, and minimizes the need for additional procedures. When conditions allow, we prioritize immediate implant placement for a more efficient and convenient treatment experience.

Traditional dentures, like those your parents or grandparents may have worn, often require adhesives and can shift or become loose over time. With dental implants, we can restore a full arch of teeth—on the top, bottom, or both—providing a more secure and functional alternative to removable dentures. We offer two primary implant-supported options: Snap-In Dentures – These attach securely to implants but can be manually removed for cleaning. They provide better stability than traditional dentures while still allowing for easy maintenance. Fixed Implant-Supported Teeth – This option is permanently secured to the implants and does not need to be removed. It looks and functions just like natural teeth, eliminating concerns about slipping, adhesives, or daily removal. Both options provide a natural-looking, comfortable, and durable solution, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

There are several options for implant-retained dentures. At Riviera Dental Care, Dr. Hanson, who has years of experience with dentures and an in-house lab, offers multiple solutions to meet patients’ needs. One option involves securing the denture with several implants, allowing you to manually snap it in and remove it at your convenience. With additional implants, we can provide a more stable denture that remains securely in place and is removed only every six months for professional cleaning. This option offers enhanced stability while still allowing for periodic maintenance. For some patients, we may recommend placing multiple implants throughout the mouth to support crowns or bridges, which are permanently cemented in place. Another option is a full-arch restoration, often called a “roundhouse,” which replaces all of your teeth with a fixed prosthesis. This approach provides a long-term, natural-looking solution to restore your smile.

Many people in our community, just like you, are excellent candidates for mini implant-retained dentures. In the past, conventional implants required significant bone volume, which limited treatment options for some patients. However, mini dental implants require less bone, making implant-retained dentures accessible to nearly everyone. We are excited to offer this solution, which was not always possible before but is now a reality for more patients.
