A few weeks ago, I went into the store to buy some Alani energy drinks and protein bars. While I was there, the employee, Thomas, kept trying to sell me the yearly $40 membership fee. I spoke to this salesman for literally 20 minutes because I had the suspicion he was overselling (and frankly, flat-out lying). I asked him plainly and clearly, “so, this membership has EVERYTHING BOGO 50% off for the entire year at each store because I usually shop at the Spanish Fort location?” and he flat-out told me “yeah dude you could save literally 50% on every item as long as you purchase 2 things at any location”. I still kept chattering because that is literally 4 hours worth of my work, but he did eventually sell me the membership based purely on false promises, because not only did most items end up not even ringing up for the supposed BOGO a few days later, but the deal has no effect at all at the Spanish Fort location. I straight-up asked the employee if the discount worked year-round, daily at each store and when I came back to Foley location half the items I wanted weren’t even ringing as BOGO at his own location (which further confirms that the employee was flat-out conning me). When I brought all this up to the store after learning this information, I was met with a very hostile, demeaning attitude from the employee as I explained the situation and how I felt truly scammed. Not only that, but he was being very rude to the person in front of me who was trying to return an item and the lady even turned to us and said “wow, Mr attitude” with an expression of genuine shock. I was eventually refunded but the point remains DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THOMAS. Just wait until a respectful, competent employee is there because not only does he treat everyone poorly, but he has absolutely no knowledge or care for the products he sells. He will tell you anything to sell a product because that is literally his only bottom line. Worst retail experience of my entire life.

Randomly closed when they should be open. Arrived at 3PM and it states they will be back at 4PM. What?

I visited this location on 3/7/26 around 1:40 pm with a group of three, and it was easily the most unprofessional retail experience I’ve had. We walked in while the employee was in a heated exchange with another customer regarding her membership points. Initially, we thought the customer was the problem, but it quickly became clear the employee was being incredibly sarcastic and talking down to her. When he finally approached us, his tone was immediately accusatory and impatient, as if our presence was wasting his time. When we explained what we were looking for, he gave us a derogatory explanation about corporate vs. franchise stores and tried to push a membership upsell with an attitude that made us want nothing to do with the program. To top it off, he rolled his eyes as he walked away. We were going to buy several items, but we decided our business wasn't welcome and left empty-handed. Management needs to address this employee’s conduct immediately.

I went in on 2/24/26 at 11:30 a m. I asked the female clerk for a specific type of product. She was incredibly helpful. She searched on- line to discover something that would exactly fit my needs. She was friendly, caring and efficient. I am 61 years old and never before have I received such awesome, extremely competent service. She is a credit to the company. Thank you so much.
