  We were very happy with the care my dad received while in rehab. His care team went to great lengths to try to find things he could eat. They never seemed to mind warming up food for him and storing things in the fridge. They were very responsive and compassionate to all his needs. One tech held his hand and comforted him while he was getting an IV started. One of the nurses said she had no experience with stoma care but that she was always eager to learn new skills and jumped right in and took care of it. The techs who helped him shower and shave made him feel okay about it, when it could have been very awkward and embarrassing for him. These are just a few things that come to mind out of many. The PT and social work departments are also exceptional. My dad went into his surgery a strong and active man. When he was released from the hospital, he could barely stand. The staff at Cherokee County got him back on his feet again and helped give him hope that he will fully recover. We will be forever grateful for that. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

  We felt that our family member got excellent care in a kind, loving and professional manner at Cherokee County Rehab Center. They made them feel like they were special and they noticed that they treated everyone else that way too. Their health improved and we were pleased with the PT and OT they received there. We would highly recommend this facility!

  My mother was moved here for hospice care. Everyone we worked with for her care was very understanding and helpful, even when we made worried calls late at night. I recommend this place.
