I understand that Soldotna is small and probably can't offer the same services as other locations, but didn't expect to be reprimanded by pharmacy staff for daring to show up for a scheduled appointment. They said I could wait for an hour to see if the pharmacist might have time to administer the vaccines. I decided it was probably a bad idea to stick around since they were obviously stressed out and didn't want me there. There are lots of other options for filling prescriptions - I signed up for a prescription by mail service that gives more reliable service than Fred Meyers - and I'm sure I can find a place to get vaccinated that doesn't treat me like an annoyance.
