  Slow and understaffed. Asked to send my prescription to a particular provider and after 4 days I called PCHS and they never received such a prescription. The associates are also cold and unfriendly and not helpful. Never say hi, how are you or anything . Although one of the pharmacist seemed like he cared once. I’d rather go to Walmart but I live in soldotna and this is closer

  Their website encourages you to make an appointment for vaccinations, but doesn't tell you that this location doesn't accept appointments. I understand that Soldotna is small and probably can't offer the same services as other locations, but didn't expect to be reprimanded by pharmacy staff for daring to show up for a scheduled appointment. They said I could wait for an hour to see if the pharmacist might have time to administer the vaccines. I decided it was probably a bad idea to stick around since they were obviously stressed out and didn't want me there. There are lots of other options for filling prescriptions - I signed up for a prescription by mail service that gives more reliable service than Fred Meyers - and I'm sure I can find a place to get vaccinated that doesn't treat me like an annoyance.

  Went to get the rest of a prescription filled Tues. when they said the shipment would come in on Monday while camping in Soldotna. Order wasn't there and we needed to have it transferred up to another Fred's in Anchorage we would be at later. Guy behind the counter refused and said come back in couple hours. Doesn't work when your traveling. Also was rude about the whole things.
